I like how it is easy to use and under the events tab there are folders that you can create digital files and store all case info. I also like that you can record time spent on cases individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that outlook crashes with it and that sometimes templates are glitchy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is very user friendly. I am easily able to search for matters, dockets, and documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The matters could be better organized within themselves. It would be helpful to customize a matter based on subject type. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
a legal centric software program which like most industry specific program functionality is geared to the legal end user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Functionality for other users is lacking. The basic software provides minimal reporting functionality. Everything one would really want access to is an upgrade or requires payment for programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to classify documents and events for easy organization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The application seems to have a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. There have been times where I have been working on a document when the application has crashed. When re-started, the entire document has disappeared and no version can be recovered by IT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prolaw is an all encompassing "Front office" and "back office" software. Our finance people seem to be happy using it and legal staff and attorneys have gotten used to it, but its not without its flaws. its file management meets our needs and the calendaring integration with microsoft outlook is crucial. Prolaw is clunky.
Prolaw is prone to crashing - while searching for documents queries that aren't specific enough will generally crash the program.
Prolaw's addons with microsoft office can lead to problems with the programs hanging while they wait for prolaw, occasionally requiring us to kill the prolaw process in order to save the file.
Prolaw generally requires us to keep multiple case file locaitons, it doesn't handle the saving and editing of things beyond pdfs and microsoft office well. So media will need to be kept in a separate location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prolaw gives our legal team the necessary platform to keep organized, save important information, and set deadlines for projects and cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program freezes when I move between multiple matters, which is very disruptive when trying to work quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
