What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Currently using Telerik UI for both Xamarin and WPF, while learning how to use it on web technologies.

The first thing I have ever used from Telerik was the RadSpreadsheet which honestly made my development time drop quite a lot; a lot easier to use a pre-made control than trying to create your own when dealing with something as complex and Excel documents.

The things I like best about Telerik is that not only is the community quite active, so any problems that might arise are solved fast, but also the technical support is quick to respond to any and all problems you might send them.

Also, one of the best things is that the package is one of the most complete ones there are, at least for WPF; I've had been searching for quite some time before I decided to stay with Telerik.

I've been a client for the past three years and I don't think this will change in the foreseeable future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

Probabily the only I thing I would be able to define as negative would be the need for a bit more and easier customization, but it is one of the things under development right now so hopefully it'll be fixed soon enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Take the time to read and implement right all the components so they work together well and react to theme changes on the fly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?

Excel spreadsheet manipulation - a lot, lot, and I cannot stress this enough, LOT faster development than trying to make sense of the way Microsoft set this up.

Light and dark themes - a lot easier to set up color themes; two lines of code and all RadControls change colors just like that

PDF Viewer - Although still in development, it has quite some usable functions, such as searching, programatically highlighting words, and so forth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Telerik chart components on iOS behave differently than Android.

Bugs that my team identifies and produces code to reproduce are not fixed quickly.

MS AppCenter "Stable" toolchain versions are not supported when newer versions of Telerik are released Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Telerik UI is easy to learn and implement. So it saves lots of time for UI design. UI looks very beautiful and talkative.

When we do restore nuget packages without setting up nuget package folder path then it mess up all the thing as it fails to restore. need to spend ample time to fix the issues as code nt able to identify telerik. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using grid on lots of page where we need to interact with database to perform CRUD operations. Using grid we can provide lots of options to user like add, edit, delete records, sorting ,filtering , grid paging etc.

Using makes text box we can put formats on users input so that software can take only values which are in acceptable format.

Telerik made it easy to implement data visualization without having to build out grids from scratch in Blazor. It was very plug-and-play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

THE GRIDS - with the MVC helpers we quickly got nice results that perform very well and then customized them for our needs.

To clarify the requirements with the stakeholders on e.g. behaviour of grids, we often used the Demo page.
