I have been using KendoUI since 2010 at various companies. The features that keep bringing me back to the framework project-after-project are:
1. The Kendo DataSources makes binding to our RESTful APIs seamless.
2. Kendo router is the Gold Standard in creating SPA applications. The ability to wire url hashtags to various javascript controls makes development so much quicker than having to make trips back out to our server layer for the next view. Combine that with the Kendo Views and Templates and truly split development work from server-side .vs. client side.
3. Kendo is delivered with some of the best usage documentation in the industry. I'm always asked to push the limits of the widgets supply by Kendo, and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I find some fringe example in the documentation that customizes the widget just how I need it. I don't have many complaints with the framework. However, the most recent builds are starting to have trouble with RequireJS. I know that RequireJS is an older framework, but it's still a heavily used in my world and would like to see better support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has almost all the components that we needed. The components are easy to use and the Kendo support team responded every time we asked for their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We customised the components a lot (without theme builder) and after some major releases, it was a challenge to check and addapt to all the changes made to the components class names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is fantastic, the documentation is also very good. We have had a such a good experience with our implementation (Angular) We have used support once and that was also a good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their sales channel is very aggressive - wanting early renewals, offering dubious discounts for early renewal, badgering frequently if you are wanting additional licenses, if you are going to renew licenses later in the year, etc. If the software wasn't so strong I would have gone elsewhere on this point alone. Each component is able to be modified to enable an almost unlimited amount of customization.
Support is always available and the team seem very interested in trying to help solve your issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am in Australia so my time zone is different to the support team so I have to wait a day for a support reply. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When there is a component that you want to use but Kendo doesn't support it, so now I've got to find another library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Progress Kendo UI is a bunch of JavaScript UI libraries built natively for jQuery, Angular, React, and Vue. It has made my complex front-end development easy and fast. It has made UI more responsive, modern, and it’s cross browser compatibility if of great use either we are using it for desktop or for mobile development. Also, documentation and customer support provided by the Kendo UI team are of great use if I am stuck anywhere while developing features.
Kendo UI has many components natively built for the most popular JavaScript frameworks which are of great use to developers i.e., Charts, Buttons, Theme Builder, Figma Kits, etc. The ready-to-use UI components, complex UI features have made my work simpler, faster, and more appealing. Due to this, I can bring excellent client results. I have been using it for more than 2 years, it works seamlessly. I recommend this to every developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One major drawback of Progress Kendo UI is its pricing structure. It only gives 30 days free trial after that we need to buy its license that starts from $1149 which is expensive for individuals or smaller development teams with tight budgets. Also, it should be bit more beginner friendly. Otherwise, it’s a great product for development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Kendo UI because it's much easier to build the ground up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that if you don't know react it's difficult to create a project Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
