It's very intuitive and can be easily used fresh out of the box. The software is updated and improves over time and I have noticed this over the past few years of using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were ways to restrict user access to different product groups. I run a product team that works across a number of different products, often with external stakeholders. We like to give these stakeholders access to ProdPad so that they can add new ideas and feedback, however, we currently can't restrict their access to only see one product and feedback from their domain. Prod Pad is easy to use, easy to share, and has incorporated Generative AI to critique and provide insights into ways you can enhance your product's strategic canvas. It also includes Generative AI insights on initiatives you might add at key points in your product's roadmap journey. Being cloud-based, it is easy to implement and has a simple licensing model. The opportunity to trial the product first with encouragement to extend your trial by trying more features was useful, and they offered great sales and onboarding support. It would be nice if you could display the Impact/Effort matrix at the Initiative level instead of at the Ideas level to support top-down portfolio-level investment decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly can't think of any aspects I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prodpad stands out due to it's ability to enable SAAS development Companies to evolve their end to end process of Production in innovative ways which can assist with providing a Unique point of difference in the Market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no dislikes about Prodpad, I would like to see the evolution of the Signals which is in Beta as well as being able to better be positioned to maximise the benefits of the Ai components. By this I mean a better explaination of where quality inputs would asssist in better quality outputs from the AI and its associated functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is simple, straightforward, and doesn't distract/dizzify you with tons of options and configuration that allows something to do millions of things, but none well. It does the structuring and clarifying of the work of Discovery REALLY well.
Prodpad puts into an app/workflow a simple, effective method.
Starting to use Prodpad is also very easy. In one day you can get started and be extracting value already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the flip side, if you have a well organized product team that follows a pattern that doesn't closely align to Prodpad's method, it may be hard to converge the two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Prodpad links customer directly directly to ideas, initiatives and OKRs, making sure that customer feedback is available where decisions on a product are made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From a User Research perspective, synthesizing customer feedback is more complex than what Prodpad currently has to offer. Looking forward to new developments in the area! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the feedback structure of feedback > idea, is great structure compared to the likes of jira which i think is really behind the times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some areas for growth
• Idea cannot be sorted easily via impact and effort, which make prioritisiation very, very hard. we currentyl export to a csv in order todo this.
•it would be nice if we had a more visual view to create ideas. It would be cool to lay out all our feedback and add them to ideas we create on the fly in a visual manner like a miro board.
• Add a better method or mutiple method of prioritising like R.I.C.E
•Custom status for ideas other than archived or backlog etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the main attractions for me is the feedback feature which allows the product team to directly hear the voice of their customers or the users of their product. Being able to link this directly to the ideas which are eventually executed in development as well as the higher level initiatives in the roadmap means that there is a "golden thread" that runs throughout the product. Our product is internal and B2B so our users are also our colleagues. A common question I hear from them is how to attach screenshots or attachments to their feedback because it would help them to express themselves better. This can be particularly valuable when people are communicating in English as their second language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The roadmap view whiich can be organised by product line and OKRs allows me to easily plan out how incremental value will be discovered and delivered. Grouping ideas into initiatives makes forward resource planning very effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
External integrations are less slick than a fully integrated suite of tools. Mapping of workflow satges between Prodpad and Jira software for example could be made more intuitive but that's not something that needs attention every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We now have a place to manage all our ideas without them being lost in Jira. Duplicates are identified as you are writing which saves wasted time.
We've not been using the system for long but we're already seeing the benefits and several issues have been identified by implementing the feedback widget in our solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does feel like there is some duplication when creating feedback, which is linked to an idea, which is then linked to an initiative on the roadmap. However, I do think that this is possibly down to not using it in the way it was designed to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use interface and very nice roadmap view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not having backwards compatibility from Jira. Meaning Jira Epics and Userstories are not synced with Prodpad. This already done by some other tools like ProductBoard and makes life much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
