Slice slimulator works great
Great developer experience with localhost already setup for most used js frameworks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
List of pages and content types is a mess. Should be ordered well
Overall UX for editor is it's best
Simulator for slice is a good idea but have a lot of limitations (for example you can access other Prismic data inside it)
Lack of fields customization. You can't group, make some fields mandatory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The flexiblity in the setup. You can easily create the workflow you want in you CMS. Customer Support is top notch, we had a question and they really help you to reach your goal. Our first integration was very easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Do not dislike, but like to be a bit more improved - the realtime editor. I really like to see better what I changed, how my website looks (with 3 viewports editors) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how easy it is to set up and manage projects using Prismic.io. The intuitive user interface makes content modeling and updates easy, which saves a lot of development time. I also love its flexibility with modern libraries like Next.js, Nuxt, and my favorite, SvelteKit. It seamlessly integrates with these frameworks, allowing me to build dynamic, fast, and scalable websites and web applications while maintaining a smooth workflow. While Prismic.io offers great flexibility, it can be challenging for new users to understand its custom types and slices. The content relationship feature could be more intuitive, particularly when working with larger datasets. Despite these challenges, the benefits of using Prismic.io outweigh these drawbacks. Features: Prismic comes with all the bells and whistles anyone would ever need to build a fully fledged website.
Their CDNs are excellent, images are best served with the combination of Prismic and their React Components.
Their help docs make it super easy to implement - I'm no master of code and yet I've been able to build multiple websites with 500+ pages in each without a sweat.
Prismic also takes note of what to improve. Their CMS home page was extremely slow before - but now they've made drastic improvements and made it a breeze to use it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Categorization of CMS documents could improve. Perhaps folders? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prismic.io has an intuitive interface, making it easy for non-developers to manage content. Its customizable content models let me structure content the way I need for my web apps without much complexity. The feature to create reusable content components (slices) is fantastic for maintaining consistency across the site while still allowing flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the interface is user-friendly, the developer experience has a bit of a learning curve. Integrating slices can require more time and troubleshooting than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've started to use prismic couple of years ago. It was very comfortable for the client, and I was able to implement it on Gatsby website. I've spend some time to setup it, but after it all was working as expected. Reliable headless CMS.
recently I came back to the prismic, palning to implement it on other project in current company I work for.
We are a Digital Product Agency. Working on many diffrent projects, including Landing pages or blogs for clients. For that was used a Webflow. But as another option, I proposed to my team to use Prismic. I have presented it ot my team. Using it on a Next js 14 with app router, template project, with possibility to start using it for clients.
I love using it, especially now, after prismic team have updraded dashboard UI and implemented a Slice machine. This is game changer. The ease of use is a top. Aslo implemented a multilanguage support, and theme management connecting to Shadcn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are still some issues with AI translator, but it is like on early testing mode. So it's fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really easy to use especialy for projects where the content is the main part,
It allows me to focus on the coding part, integrate it and let my clients add the content they want as it is really easy to use for most of them (still need to show them the basis).
I just need to integrate it in my website and that's it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that I can only modify types on the local instance in the first tier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slice machine is one of the best feature. Developer can build the content blocks that content teams can mix and match, rearrange, and resuse across pages.
Previewable helpful for project where content needs to be reviewed before publication Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Opening Slice Machine through the CLI command npm run slicemachine takes a long time. A 'Socket connection timeout' error frequently occurs, requiring multiple retries to connect.
The Rich Text Editor doesn’t support text color, so I had to create a custom tag to enable highlighting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fast, convenient to add content, easy to integrate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A bit too clunky when it comes to adding a lot of fields. Especially fields that needs to be dependant on another field. For example, a checkbox field could show other fields when it's depends on it otherwise possible hide the fields for viewability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Im using prisminc foor around 1 year, and its limits are crazy, dynamic content building, its very easy to use, and with slice machine, developement speed gets doubled. I have ben using it very frequently like on theweekly bases, and never hit the api limit as or now.
Implementing components is also very easy with the slice machine, just create a slice and update, and it will automaticaly handle things, unlike other headless cmc, where we have to make content manually.
Talking about Integration with techstakc, its very convenient and documentations help a lot in that.
Customer support is also active and resolving, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now i hav nothing to dislike, i suggestion i can add is, rich text field is very confusing, please provide a options of formatters like "U", "B" and other all possible, so that its easier to write dynamic content like a blog post more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
