I have used many management systems over the years. PowerSchool is the best I have used thus far. It is user-friendly, intuitive, all-inclusive, and it works. Compared to other systems, this one is the top of the line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much to dislike. I wish the IEP writing system blended better with the overall design. The grading system could also be more straightforward if there were one thing to consider improving, integrating a better IEP writing system and a better health system for the nurses. The product has about the highest downtime of any product we use. It seems someone is constantly accidentally breaking something. They are not keeping up with the times and seem to be stuck 8-15 years in the past sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When it was still eSchool Plus before the PowerSchool acquisition, the product was owned by Sungard K12, then was sold to another company, and finally ended with PowerSchool. PowerSchool led us to believe that we wouldn't have to change to PowerSchool, but as things progressed, it became more apparent that if we wanted some of the newer features, we would have to upgrade, which we didn't want to do. I think the program is very user-friendly and is multi-faceted. I really like that I can send out mass emails to parents, or I can choose only to communicate with parents of certain classes. I also like that there is a parent portal option where parents can login to see students' grades and attendance. The software UI is in need of an update, extra modules are always 10K more, and following the recent merger, they have canceled 2 of their integrated products and the support response time is measured in months unless you want to write strongly worded emails frequently.
