Its easy to use, to implement and to integrate into the infrastructure and the number of functions is awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i doesn't found any downside yet and use it very often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Managing multiple docker instances from a single pane of glass makes the day-to-day operations a LOT EASIER! As a very small team, managing both the dev docker instances AS WELL AS the production docker instances makes it so much easier to have a consistent workflow, effective processes and efficient methodologies for the deployment, oeration and management of the fleet. The connection to the Portainer agent, which runs on the production docker instance, can feel slow, depending on network conditions. Of course, that is a little harsh, as the snappy response of the on-prem Portainer instance skews your experience. Overall though, this is not an operational concern Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I guess my favorite thing is being able to see at a glance what volumes/images are unused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been having trouble with getting GitHub image repo (ghcr.io) to work properly. I still have to log into the command line and use docker pull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It gives a great User interface which makes my job a lot easier, and it makes container deployment and image management so much easier and I don't even have to write commands for deployment.
So simple to oversee, screen, and make docker holders and stacks. I'm a visual individual the capacity to do all of the progressed docker stuff through a web GUI was a dream come genuine. Moreover, I can fair include Portainer in my dev stacks and it's continuously there when I'm working.
Portainer CE is an awesome tool for container administration that can offer assistance to clients to streamline the whole process. One of its most critical points of interest is its user-friendly interface, which is idealized for individuals who are not recognizable to containers or those who essentially prefer a cleaner interface. Another good thing about Portainer CE is that it underpins different container orchestrators, counting Docker Swarm and Kubernetes. It moreover offers a wide range of additional features such as holder checking, which is able to assist you to create beyond any doubt that your administrations remain up and running without issues. Portainer makes Docker unfamiliar to users, and can cause troubleshooting problems, and is confined to DOcker only. It does not support non-Docker environments and may not be as customizable as other container management tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Portainer simplifies Docker container management with an intuitive, user-friendly interface, access control, and more features than any of its competitors. It is, hands down, the go-to choice for both experienced users and novices alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really the only thing I dislike about Portainer is it does too good of a job doing the work. New users can create and manage a Docker container without ever actually knowing anything about Docker. I'm a bit old school, so I feel like you should go through the pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Can you guys give more than 5 free nodes in the pro version? (lol, Oliver Twist here) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Portainer as a GUI to manage docker containers. The business problems it addresses is the complicated management of docker with lots of containers and using the command line. It's way easier to manage docker containers with Portainer due to the friendly Web GUI it provides. It literally makes the management really easy, for updating, creating, recreating and managing the containers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have anything bad to say against Portainer. It will be cool if it had like a 2FA aditionally with any other type of authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to manage and update containers. Works well on all tested browsers including mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Have had issues updating but that was quickly resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At a glance monitoring for Docker environments, both large and small. Built-in compose integration makes life as a developer or a SysAdmin insanely easy. The duplicate/edit workflow for modifying running containers is nothing short of a godsend that everyone who uses Docker has wished for at some point. Automatic container image upgrades in the enterprise version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kubernetes management seems somewhat half-baked, at least compared to out-of-the-box solutions like the console that comes with it. Annoying and tacky shilling for the paid product in the free one (taking the form of bright orange switches that are forced on or off, and there is no way to hide these). I wish it were possible for Portainer to update itself instead of requiring manual intervention outside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
