In my opinion, the best thing about Portainer is the ease of use. We are a pretty small team, so for everyone to be able to jump in and setup or monitor containers with a just a quick introduction, has made our work much easier and efficent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Manual Docker Compose Import: While Portainer offers excellent stack management, importing existing Docker Compose files can be time-consuming due to the manual process.
Single-Point of Failure: The centralized web interface can be a single point of failure, limiting redundancy and availability. Although, this can technically be alleviated by using docker swarm/kubernets but cumbersome to setup
