Portainer makes managing Docker and Kubernetes containers incredibly straightforward, even for those without extensive DevOps experience. Its intuitive UI simplifies complex container operations, and it offers great visualization tools for monitoring and managing services, networks, and volumes. Additionally, its multi-cluster management feature is a huge time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Portainer is powerful, some advanced Kubernetes features feel limited or require additional configuration outside of the platform. Also, certain enterprise-focused features are gated behind the paid version, which can be a drawback for smaller teams or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to deploy and manage containers across multiple servers. For this the stacks feature is very usefull. With stacks i'm able to deploy tools like netdata to very server that i run and keep it easily up to date by simply changing the version number and pressing update stack.
I use Portainer for my own selfhosted servers, and we also use it at our company. It removes the requirement for using CLI with docker on Linux which is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curse in Portainer is bad for people inexperienced with docker. The interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Portainer lets me easily and remotely manage almost all aspects of Docker Containers and their supporting infrastructure through a browser-based application making frequent use simple and effective. Installation is straightforward, and it integrates easily into many environments. Its feature set is rich and comprehensive, and while Portainer does provide support, there is a robust online community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Portainer is very convenient, insulating the underlying infrastructure, but troubleshooting Docker issues can sometimes be tricky, so understanding the underlying CLI commands may be necessary. Portainer's feature set is broad and deep, so finding a solution to an odd issue may not be obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part about Portainer is how easy it is to set up and use. I was able to quickly set up and integrate multiple physical servers as Portainer environments so I can get a comprehesensive view across of all of my Docker services in a single pane of glass which I can look at every day. While Portainer is easy to use, it's UI isn't the best for some more advanced use cases, where the Docker CLI may be needed. The great part is that even services deployed via the Docker CLI and Docker Compose, they will still show up in Portainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy of use and configure the integration with CI/CD and Azure, I've made several integrations with different back and frontend applications, from node up to dotnet and React to Angular, everything works fine and the use together with Traefik makes this solution perfect to small business, very low cost, easy implementation, very trustable with auto-deploy in Azure, natural integration with Registries make this one of the best, fast and reliable software. Integration with AI tools to help create stacks and get, for example, network names, repositories, or instances like a lint validator before trying to execute will give the user faster decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Portainer makes docker management much easier, by introducing well built and thought out UIs. The user expierence is amazing, and Portainer has absolutely transformed the way I use Docker. It displays features such as Network and Volume management in an awesome visual format that makes it awesome to use. I use Portainer on three different machines, all synced together, and it has never let me down. It was extremely easy to install, and integrate with my existing Docker enviornment. It also supports SSO out of the box, allowing me to easily integrate with Authentik. I can't speak to customer support: but it has a wide userbase that have encountered basically any issue possible. Due to this widespread use, it's easy to find support for any issues I encounter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Portainer doesn't have many negative features, in my expierence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I first used Portainer a few years ago, and it took me some time to fully appreciate its benefits and how well it is developed. As a DevOps professional, I find it to be an amazing tool. I have used it for different projects, and I’m extremely happy with how easy it makes running everything I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I haven’t had any issues with my setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It simplified containers' deployment, management, and maintenance in a GUI interface without sacrificing any significant functionality available through standard CLI controls. This makes it easy to set up, review, and change configurations. It is appropriate for both new container users and skilled power users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were some issues with migrations and backup that can be resolved through some fussing; the process was not super smooth. Thankfully, these are areas of active development, and things are improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Interfaccia basata su pagina web molto comoda per gestire i vari container docker. Utilizzo molto intuitivo, in rete si trovano molti tutorial per sfruttarlo al massimo. Molto semplice da installare e facilmente integrabile con altri sistemi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Non ho riscontrato problemi per ora, unica lingua disponibile è l'inglese ma è molto comprensibile anche senza avere conoscenze approfondite della lingua. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has an easy and friendly user interface for its use, it does not require a high level of experience on Docker commands, since it is based on an intuitive visualization of images, networks and containers facilitating its performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The technical support gives suitable answers, but takes a long time to respond. I had to resort to external means to clarify my doubts in less time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
