What do you like best about POEditor?

POEditor ease of use and interface are its best qualities: as a software designer, I never have to explain how to use it to my translators. We can just focus on the translations taks without encountering any learning curve whatsoever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

Some internal menus, like Profile and Settings, are not as clear as the rest of the software. This may result in some minimum back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is POEditor solving and how is that benefiting you?

POEditor is what I had been searching and more: an agile web based software that lets me easily organize and syncronize the translations of my software between different language.

I primary design marketing tools aimed to different markets: EU, USA and APAC. The Japan and Korean userbases in particular have a completely different language structure and the work of translators is crucial.

POEditor made working with these language pipelines a breeze: when I develop new features all I need to do is adding the new terms on POEditor with explanations and screenshots, and then it's just a matter of pressing a button to notify all the translators in the team.

The internal comments are more than enough to clarify doubts, making it possible to use just one software for the entire workflow.

Labels and Context are ideal to work in a modular fashion and to improve terms organization.

Export options are marvelous, in our first pipelines we were able to import/export jsons exactly how we wanted.

But the cherry on top are the API: it took a couple of hours to our developers to create a pipeline that automatically synchronize POEditor translations to our cloud localization files: now we can centralize all the translations on POEditor without any needs for exports. What do you like best about POEditor?

I enjoy using the POEditor online interface - it'sI've been using POEditor for a while now, it's been a game-changer for our translation projects.

The interface is super easy to use. I can quickly jump between projects, add new terms, and keep an eye on everything without getting lost in a bunch of menus. The dashboard is clean and straightforward, which makes my life a lot easier.

One of the best things about POEditor is how well it handles teamwork. You can have multiple people working on translations at the same time without any issues. The role-based access is great, too. I can set different roles for translators, proofreaders, and project managers, so everyone knows what they need to do without stepping on each other’s toes.

We use the API integration – its a lifesaver, letting us automate a lot of the translation process. This saves us a ton of time and makes everything run more smoothly.

The reporting and analytics tools are really helpful. As an admin, I can see how many words have been translated, the completion rates, and how active the translators are. These insights help me keep our projects on track and ensure we meet our deadlines.

Customer support is top-notch. Whenever we’ve run into issues or had questions, the support team has been quick to respond and super helpful. They also have great documentation and tutorials, which are handy for getting new team members up to speed.

Overall, POEditor has been a fantastic tool for managing our translation projects. It’s user-friendly, great for teamwork, supports a wide range of file formats, and the customer service is excellent.

very clean and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

Whilst I totally value the tool, it would be interesting to know what POEditor is planning around AI - I'm assuming there should be some way to speed up the whole process (even if not directly doing the translations). But so far I haven't come across any news or info about AI plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about POEditor?

* Managing collaborators allowed us to easily get started with our translators on the project.

* We used the GitHub integration to make the workflow with our code easy. The sync from and to GitHub and POEditor works well.

* Ease of use for users, who are new to the translation space, and the ability to quickly add/change/remove collaborators.

* Translation Memory, which remembers current and previous translations and tries to match them smartly to new texts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

* A stronger highlighting of placeholders in translation texts, e.g., `Hello {firstname}!`, would be appreciated. Currently, the translator is shown a warning if they don't have a placeholder in their translation. However, if these placeholders were highlighted making them bold and using a different color, it would make it easier to see and understand for new translators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is POEditor solving and how is that benefiting you?

POEditor solved our need for a tool to manage a lot of translation texts for game and web projects easily. In addition it allowed us to quickly onboard new translators instead of having to work them through how to edit the translation files in the code repository.

Through the integrations, we were able to use the GitHub sync so there was no need to manually copy the translation files back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about POEditor?

The API access is really cool. That feature makes it possible to fetch the translations with a tiny script in our project. We fetch all our translations exclusivly thru the API, because it enables an automated usage. We use it everytime we need to update our terms.

The support is also super helpful. I used once the online chatting and the response was very fast and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

For now I found nothing bad regarding POEditor. I'm very happy with that solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is POEditor solving and how is that benefiting you?

POEditor makes the I18n integration in our website and app very simple. The term-keys are consistent and the translations are well structured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
