Planforge is one of those game changing platforms that enhance the capabilities and are front liners in terms of evolution. We have benefited a lot from this platform and would like to see it nourish and flourish even more. Planforge comes with an interface that is easy to understand and easy to navigate, even by novice users. We have been adding many people to our team ever since and they never wasted weeks or months just getting used to it. In short, it takes no more a day to train people which is a huge time saver. Planforge offers lots of features and benefitting tools however, customization is not really a great thing here and most of the time we need to stick to its standard format, which is not bad, but customization according to our company’s work style is a luxury which this platform could offer with a little work on this area. ONEPOINT Projects helps me organize and monitor team performance and project management, plan tasks and monitor their execution, and has the ability to plan, track, and evaluate projects. This includes task creation and management, resource allocation, budget tracking, project progress, data analysis, and reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
onepoint projects this program has many features and tools that can be very difficult to use and difficult to master, but the program has documentation and training to help you master its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how you can easily break out resourcing for the different phases of the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very time consuming to enter resourcing into their system. It requires new entries for every variable of allocation percent for a specific resource instead of allowing you to choose a time frame and change the allocation percent throughout that time frame. The project budgeting feature has been brilliant. This has allowed us to effectively to map out the runway of our project and made sure we arrive at points within the project with the right amount left!
Due dates and custom alerts have really been helpful as well making sure the whole team stays on track without manually having to keep track of where people are within their own personal projects. The protfolio management also allows you to have several projects running alongside themselves which can really help keep track of smaller tasks within a larger project. The system can be a little bit complicated when first using it. This is mainly because of the massive extent of the program and the number of features. It can take a bit of time to get used to and perhaps some more comprehensive tutorials would be handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user-interface is clearly layed out and presents the most important information clearly. Right away you can access all of the information you need an get a clear indication of where you are up to in a project without having to dive too deeply in the program.
It is very easy to present what needs to be completed and the aims and goals of the team. You can easily send To Do lists to members of the team and the fact that it is cloud based makes this even easier as it can be accessed from any device. The added mobile functionality improves this even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An increase in the amount you can customise in terms of user interface may be helpful. Being able to lock certain views and features to the home page would save more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As far as a project management tool this seems to tick all the boxes. A cloud based platform means you can use it on the go and each member of the team can use it wherever they are. This means you can delegate work remotely and not have to worry about team members not receiving any information.
Uploading files and then being able to add comments means that work can be completed, reviewed and amended all remotely and the fact it is also available on mobile makes it even easier to do this. The collaborative aspect of Onepoint is what makes it stand out and real time has been taken to develop the collaborative project planning feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A higher level of support when first using the program would be great. A more in depth knowledge portal or tutorial platform would really help. Support is provided if you need it but a more structured and accessible guide would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Right away you are able to get going with this software. The program is intuitive and easy to use. You can view the project as a whole from the homepage and all other areas of this package are available quickly and easily.
The cloud-based nature of this software makes it perfect for a team that is always on the go or doesn't have a permanent base. You can send information comment on files that have been added and see exactly where a project is going from virtually anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is always improving and the one point team is always looking to expand because of this somethings can be a little buggy but they are quickly resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can find project planning, portfolio management and resource management in one place. It makes everything just that little bit simpler. Just going to the one place for everything manes I never miss anything too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Took a little while to get used to the different system. But once you know, it's easy enough. The user interface could be a little better, which would make the learning curve that little bit better. That's probably the only criticism I could give. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of use of the Project dashboard which is very user-friendly, and the different reporting capabilities are great for business. Functionally, the tool fits our business purposes perfectly, with it's easy customisation to our own specific processes within project and portfolio management. Not really a dislike, but the initial training from implementation made creating reports a little tricky. Once this has been mastered, there are no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software really is an all in one tool - it's really difficult to pick out the 'best' bits, because it's a really great package overall.
Firstly, it's clould based, which means that the data can be uploaded and accessed anywhere and at anytime. For me this is the best feature as I'm out of office most days but I can keep on top of all my projects and my integrated To-Do list! It's really helped me to keep on track of all my business projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not a massive issue but the inital learning curve was steep (for me anyway). A few instructional videos would be a great feature to add, this would help with the initial teething problems. Although I have known others that were able to find their way around the software pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
