The ability to store my images both privately and publically, the ability for clients to make reviews. The customer service is also quite good. I have a robust account which allows for a lot of uploaded content. I have storage and the ability to search for images clients need. As long as I do my part, Photoshelter does more than theirs. There are a few aspects which I wish would change, such as clients needing to "register" with a user and password to select images. Additionally when selects are made, It would be nice to have a better way of migrating them to a different gallery. Those are things I wish could change. But otherwise, fantastic. We like the galleries for tagging and sharing with our staff. It is nice that you can add photos to more than one gallery without duplicating the photo and effecting the storage. We also like the password sharing for projects outside of our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tagging can be time on consuming, especially for videos, since you can't take more one at a time. The portal default view is a bit overwhelming with all the extra content showing around the galleries. When you give a gallery different viewing credentials, it will show up as a duplicate. Using galleries to help with creative direction for ad campaigns for photo selection and approval is my favorite part of Photoshelter for Brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Different user levels limit sharing which feels like it should be accessible at all levels--to share a gallery among users for seamless photo review and approval among teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the tagging capabilities are the most helpful and make it really easy to search for whatever you need. As a professional sports team, we are able to have our full roster inputted and automatically tagged which is very convenient. I also like how easy it is to upload photos and sort them into albums. While the tagging is a great feature, it does take a lot of time to go in and manually put in whatever keywords you want. We also ran into a lot of issues with running out of tags very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease to search for any asset based on keywords. I also think the lightboxes are great for creating collections that you can reference easily in the future or share with other team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slow loading time. Sometimes search doesn't bring up items that correlate with keywords or metadata, but that could be an error on the user's part/photo team that catalogs everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PhotoShelter allows my creative team to store, catalog, tag, and access our digital assets in a quick, user-friendly way. My team has been able store and access files that have been collected over the past 20 years. The auto-tagging features and the easy organization and tagging tools have allowed us to find assets that we have had no way to find in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not encountered anything about PhotoShelter that I dislike. The service has been a great fit for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PhotoShelter has been an excellent tool for uploading and organizing our thousands of brand photos. The tagging system provides an intuitive way to organize images by topic and photographer as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user management system is not as easy-to-use as I would like. Giving access to single photos is difficult for people outside our domain, for example. I'd love for it to be as easy as Sharing in Google Drive but it ends up being a more complicated process than necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having the ability to search for photos, creating Galleries and Collections to organize photos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no stats for downloads, like which photos get the most downloads. To my knowledge, there is no way to batch-remove one keyword from a group of photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This program is phenomenal. Before we had PhotoShelter for Brands our photo archive was a tedious mess. However, it's much more organized now, and the program makes it simple and fast to find what you're looking for. If you have an e-commerce company or work for one as I do, this is the perfect program for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of any downsides except trying to find answers on your own when first learning the new program; not everything is covered in full on the help pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a major brand we do countless of large photoshoots very often, so the fact that we're able to organize though online without having to deal with a storage spot for everyone to have access to, is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes with larger folders/albums. The load time takes a while, I tend to have to wait a few minutes before I'm able to scroll through the photoshoot at a decent pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
