We love the search and tagging function of Photoshelter / Libris as well as the permissions for sharing depending if it's external or internal sharing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like the fact that Photoshelter limits you to a certain amount of subdomains which can be a factor in scalability Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Collections and galleries make it easy to keep photos organized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a significant cost investment that we have to budget for each year in order to use PhotoShelter Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that all my assets are there and safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that if I need to send photos, that I still regularly use Dropbox. It's not a one stop shop. I don't like that it doesn't have an app. There tend to be issues with accessibility - I'll have someone on the regular access list but they can't open images. Love the interface, easily captioning/keywording and search of image catallogue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
not much. very happy with the way it is. However sometimes searches take a while Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I work in a state university, so there's a really large amount of images that are shared between different groups, with different levels of access for different images. PhotoShelter helps keep track of everything and provides a great point of access for our image library. AI-assisted search also helps find images that aren't labelled properly. I would like for it to be easier to search for images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform integrates with our workflow well, assets are easily accessible to stakeholders, and our users have no trouble navigating it. Our team's use PhotoShelter every day and adapted easily to it.
Also the curstomer support has been timely, intentional, and quite helpful. Our transition to PhotoShelter was also quite smooth. We have an internal Marketing team of nearly 90 people and our internal teams transitioned well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our teams would looooove more flexibility with Workspaces. Currently, invited users have no control over the workspaces they create without a Library staff member granting them permission to it.
Also, currently if a gallery or collection deviates from its root permissions, it will appear as a standalone gallery/collection in the Portal view. As you can imagine, this get's quite messy in appearance and the appeal of PhotoShelter for us was to be able to grant users permissions specifically and not necessarily grant them permission across the board. If they could still apear under their root collection despite permissions, that would be amazing.
On rare occasion, when doing a blank search to simply view the most recent uploads, PhotoShelter can really struggle to load images. I might scroll a few dozen images down before being hit with a "Loading" screen of images which never really load. My best bet is just reload the screen and hope it loads this time. As both a photographer and an individual tagged in photos it is dificult to sort between the two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

it's easy to keep all our photo and video elements in one place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI Search cannot be narrowed to a specific area of PSR, it will search all our photos by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
