What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Interface, cloud based, search functions are some of my favorite features. I also like how easy it is to share, give permissions, and so on. I think their customer service is incredible, the sale process was not pushy but helpful, always seemed to be trying to help not up-sell a product we did not need. I am a mega fan, I recommend Photoshelter to every colleague I have in Higher education and professional photographers. I enjoy using the app, to upload on the fly, the desktop uploaded is great for batch uploads. I think the app could be improved for mobile so from my phone I can change permissions and share galleries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Pricing can be limiting but it is worth it in the end. The pricing can be tough to put out during tough times like 2020. I would like to see more of a higher education discount. we are using Photoshelter for sharing, organized archiving of thousands of images and video for our campus to quickly and accurately access, download and share. Photoshelter is a smooth interface that I can not say enough about. The benefits are that my workflow is more efficient and speedy. I am able to work on location, on campus and from home with ease. What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I like that it is easy to catalog photos and share them internally and externally with vendors and press members. My favorite feature is the ability to add tags to photos. Adding tags makes it easier for different users to find appropriate photos for the web, social media, and others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much to dislike about PhotoShelter. I wish we had internally a person dedicated to categorize and add tags to photos. I think that would be extremely valuable for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have a centralized place for all of our photos. It is easy to build folders for external vendors, and give access to team members across the college. It is easier to share and actually use the photos we have. Personally, I use PhotoShelter to build specific folders that I can share with vendors for the purpose of creating advertising campaigns. Other team members use the tool to find photos to post on social media, to add appropriate photos to the website, and to gather photos for complex print pieces. What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Photoshelter is user friendly and simple to navigate. It has more the offer than just storage of photos and websites. (However, I have a unique way of organizing my files, and I like flexibility to do so on Photoshelter! It makes finding photos way easy!

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

A bit pricey in my opinion. It can take quite a while to upload when uploading multiple larger files/photos, but that is understandable. Other than than, I am happy so far, I am a newer user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is easy to use! It's really easy navigate and learn. We have a small marketing team, but a large international group of people who want to submit photos and videos to us. It gives you access to quickly choose photo download size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

This product does not allow the user to multi select images to download. You have to manually add each image individually into a Lightbox. Then I can't download the entire Lightbox folder. I still have to manually download each of them. This makes for an extremely time consuming work flow. The new Workspace is feature is extremely clunky. I often find that the things I'm trying to do-- share with a user, download, upload-- are features that either don't work or need to be enabled individually by the administrator. The administrators also have not entered in enough key words to help users find certain images. This is not the product's fault, but it is worth noting that if your administrators/photographers aren't entering enough meta data, then it makes users' jobs much more difficult to find things. Make sure that your administrators are entering enough keywords to make images searchable/findable. It is a time-consuming process, but that is how people are accustomed to find things.
