The versatility and ease of using the platform are top-notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to add here. We are thrilled with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Design of the site is very contemporary and more modern compared to previous software offered by Thirdlight. Searching and refining searches in the site is much easier and much more obvious for the standard day-to-day users we have on our system. Navigation through site is great and was one of the first things our users noticed upon logging in. The pricing structure compared to rivals is very fair. We have over 300,000 assets on the site and searching is much quicker than it was on IMS which is fantastic for our users and saves a lot of time in the long-run. Lack of customisation - a lot of the features that were previously customisable on the IMS software aren't as changeable on Chorus - often you will have to get in touch with the Dev team to assist but they are very quick to respond to queries and super helpful. 'Spaces' are a little difficult to get your head around if you're used to using the IMS software and there isn't a 'Lightbox' functionality so it may take a while to get used to using collections to share imagery both internally and externally. The whole system is really easy to use - both as an admin and a user - and since switching from its previous version to Third Light Chorus has been so beneficial, both to user input and output, as every process involved in keeping our Image Library has been made easier because of it. Users are asking way less questions re help than before, which means it is simple to use and easy to understand... which is great!
I like the dual screen functionality, which means it's easy to move images or files from one folder to another. I also like the layout, with the spaces better laid out with large preview boxes for users to see what there is in each folder. The drag and drop functionality too is so helpful, as you can pull files from File Explorer to Third Light, and it uploads without a problem!
What I also like is that it gives you data on what pictures are being downloaded and by who as well, and - as an admin - allows you a chance to review photos/files before they get uploaded, which I really like. It allows admins (me) an element of control and ultimately makes the site very user-friendly, as I then know files are tagged correctly and are in the right place.
I also like the team behind it. I know that, if I do have a problem, I will receive an email back from a member of the support team within an hour and the problem is usually fixed with a couple of hours... if not straight away. They are always happy to help, no matter how big or small the problem. The team also keep you updated on when there are updates as well - via automated emails - so I always know when expected downtime is (if any!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about Third Light and haven't come across any negatives in our 7 years of using them at ABP. I would happily recommend Third Light to anyone looking for this kind of service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very user friendly and easy to navigate your way around it, we can't imagine working without it as it is a very popular and trusted resource across our regional teams. The customer and IT support you get from the team at Third Light is also fantastic. The Presets for downloading images such as scaling for Powerpoint templates has been so popular and it is the home for all our brand identities in various file formats. Allowing controlled access to our Design Agency partners also saves myself and many colleagues a great deal of time and assists collaboration on projects. It has been great value for money in allowing the company to share assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike anything - it meets all our needs 100%. As the Administrator I have never received any negative feedback from users during all the years we have used the library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have utilized Photoshelter for a few years now and it is fairly easy to upload and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used Third Light software for many years and find it is well designed , reliable, stable and easy to use. We use it to securely store and catalogue thousands of photographs. Colleagues who use the software, all sing its praises. Third Light are a great company to work with.
With all software, it is the aftersales support that matters, when you have a problem or just need some help. I would highly rate the Support Team at Third Light - I always receive a prompt and competent reply to support tickets. Great support saves you time - I have wasted hours fixing issues with 'other' software providers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. You get a great product that does the job, it is constantly updated with new features, all assets are backed-up, and if you need help, there is the fantastic support team to call upon. For me, it is a service worth paying for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
