I appreciate the real-time numbers that allow me react quickly to what our audience is curious about. I also appreciate that the data can be broken down historically and by author. It has been useful for me to track the reach and success of my work by looking at the stats by name or by a certain timeless. This then informs the content I cover in the future. I also appreciate how user-friendly and easily interactive the interface is. I usually don't have problems roaming the platform for information. Being able to quickly see what posts are performing well for the day and within the past ten minutes is especially important in my role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not sure what I dislike at this time. If anything, I would love to see how Parsley can be integrated through social media in the future. In my position, I don't have access to that data or those stats, if they exist for my company, which I presume they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Regular and accurate monitoring of site audiences plays a vital role in understanding how our website or blog performs and deciding on the right content strategy for maximum gains. With Pasrse.Ly’s actual time monitoring of audiences, I can not only understand the number of people currently consuming my articles but also see how the live traffic stacks against the number of visitors I generally get. It keeps me updated on where my present content stands and determines the specific areas of improvement.
The detailed reports give me a complete idea of the specific stories that are top performers, which helps me to decide the taste preference of the audiences I am serving and use these insights to serve them better the next time while also giving the right direction to my blog.
The periodical overview also helps me understand the specific times at which the particular type of content performs better than others, like the festive season. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The auto-resetting of the dashboard can be a bit annoying when we want to access all our relevant options quickly. I think it should be fixed immediately to enhance the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like knowing the data and status of the site in real-time, as it allows detecting problems before they cause a bigger issue for my audience. Additionally, the information collected helps to identify trends that we can exploit before the competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps they should add a better way to filter the data, since some tags do not allow it. As well as improving the display periods that are limited to one year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use, so it doesn't require much, if any, training for new team members Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It only tracks 'article views' - ie how many users view an article, and doesn't track additional clicks within an article, like photos in a gallery, so we still need to refer to Google Analytics to track total page views vs article views....but that's not a big issue for us. Parse.ly is so much easier to use than Google Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can track a lot of different types of data while using Parse.ly, from minutes and time spent to unique entrances and raw page views. What's most useful for me has been looking back on historical data and refining by traffic source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could go back farther than a couple of years to do longer tail analysis. I also wish Parse.ly was smart enough to offer more actionable recommendations to improve our content by looking at where we got our traffic from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Parse.ly is the easiest content analytics tool I've ever used, making it super quick to train editors and enable them to make data-driven decisions. Scheduled reports and an easy-to-use UX make it a daily habit for most of our editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slightly technical, but Parse.ly collects a lot of helpful user-level info that the customer isn't able to access. While I understand why this would be difficult to share, it would be SO great to have from a data perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In addition to showing you how many views and unique visitors each of your articles is getting, Parse.ly also shows you where the traffic is coming from with individual breakdowns for social sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were an easy way to see the view count for an article's entire lifespan. On mobile, you can get historical data for six months but on desktop, you can only see page view counts month by month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows you to compare previous weeks and months to give you an idea of what works and what doesn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it had a tool where you can view stories published by the date – it would be good to know how stories are performing on certain days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform does a great job of displaying real-time traffic reports in several different increments. Very easy to understand and dig into further analytics if you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the analytics, like trying to find referral information where clicks are coming from, are still a little vague. Also, it's tough to get reports on specific categories and tags if a piece of content has multiple categories and/or tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very accurate and easy to use, everything can be found within a few seconds, the best thing about it is how I have access to an overall experience. It is the best in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing wrong or bad to say about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
