It would sometimes crash when I need to change the clients email address.

ParcelLab is one of the most important tools used by our CS agents.   The automatic notifications keep helping in reducing the amount of contacts received, especially the possibility of resending and changing the email in case the customer made a previous typo.

No downsides, the only thing would be the current timeout being too little.

Up to date notifications for customers. This has lowered the tracking related queries received by our CS agents.

  ### 12. Adaptable, great and fast service

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

There was no feature for which the development team could not find a solution. 
Integration in the front end is incredibly simple, but still highly customisable. 
Data on deliveries and returns in the backend is useful and offers great BI insights.

Our customer support team greatly appreciates the ability to view the progress of an order directly in PL in a kind of feed and regularly (on a daily bases) uses the option of subsequently extracting labels for returns. The work has become much easier at this point.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

Sometimes you have to click your way through the menus to get where you want to go. 
The filters could work a little more intuitively. For example, you have to select a filter and then activate it in a second step by clicking on a slider.

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

It's not over-engineered. They've taken what a business truly needs and have created that. There is little in the way of configuration from a front end approach and it's surprisingly refreshing. That way you get what is important not what you think you want. Don't get me wrong, they still have the ability to support some edge case reporting requirements and will take feedback on board. The implementation was seamless and very straight forward. Initially our CSR and logistics team weren't keen on managing yet another system to cater for logistics and customer content. Until they had a demo. And PL, even though the implementation was complete, still supported onboarding of our staff with training and further training if required.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

We are probably quite a bit different from their normal customers, and while it was still our fault in how we migrated data over prior to go live, a more formal implementation plan may have been helpful. I am probably being overly critical though. It was raised, we ignored and we had to scramble for 2 days to meet our deadline. ParcelLab still supported us through that integration piece. and we hit the goal.

A single source of managing customer comms from carriers, specifically for WISMO. Also analytics around days to me promise.

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

When i first came in almost 6 months ago my parcel lab was not working, whenever we got it active, it made my job simpler, as i can look at more deeply into tracking informations, communications sent to customers, etc. I would love to be able to leave notes for the carriers i dont know if that could be possible from parcel lab.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

Sometimes not working, my access gets denied every now and then, and i do depend a lot on parcelab to report missing parcels.

**What problems is parcelLab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever a package is states as delivered, we can claim it so carrier can review, that helps us if the package is not supposed to be delivered anymore they can resend that back to our warehouse.
We can also resend notifications to different emails from the customers, providing more accurate information about the tracking.

It's easy to navigate and understand, it makes really easy to check all the information about the parcel we are investigating. It allows to resend important emails to the customer and also to change the detail of the email address if there's a typo. I have to use almost always, in every interaction I have.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

The claim for missing items doesn't allow to choose exactly which item is missing.
Unclear information regarding post-action follow-up, although it might be more an internal issue. Not possible to change the appearance of the system to a dark mode, not all options available (forbidden disclaimer)

**What problems is parcelLab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resending email notification, check the details of the parcel (weight), claim of lost packages so the company can claim the refund for those. It helps to get a better view of the tracking

I love that we have the ability to tweak the amount of updates we send our consumers regarding their packages. It's also easy for our CS team to make updates to an address that they are creating a return on if the customer used a non validated address.One of our main support people (Matt McGinnis but is no longer our dedicated person) provided us with phenomenal support, I can't say enough great things about him.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

There's room for improvement on the new portal - your filters in the tracking page need broken down a bit. 

 If a support ticket needs filed, it takes weeks, sometimes months just to get a resolution, while you get asked repetitive information.  I think you should focus on boosting your support a bit to help your customers with their needs.

**What problems is parcelLab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we needed a way to provide more detailed tracking info to consumers -PL has solved this for us! Keeping customers informed cuts down on transactions our customer support team has to handle

I like it is quite simple, not that much of a complicated system.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

It seems like we could be a little straighter forward with the way we lookup tracking numbers for returns, also on our end the claim system is not working properly, and we have been working to get it solved but it seems like so far it hasn't been resolved yet.

We can more effectively track the returns from the customers, and we can determine if this could be a valid missing return case.

Very quick with a friendly user interface. Allows me to track many orders and to also check the history of processing with the dates and time. It is even so accurate that it gives you the exact hour and minutes so that I can investigate thoroughly even when time differences are so short. It is really a life saver!

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

The ability to track parcels from multiple couriers and multiple customers at the same time. The user interface is very nice and easy to navigate. Compared to my old system of tracking parcels this is years ahead. I use this platform on a daily basis multiple times and it resolves my customers queries much quicker now. This was implemented in to my company recently, has made a world of difference! Haven't had to contact customer support yet as everything runs smoothly.

There is limited searching function, i.e. I can only search by tracking number, email and name of customer. Would like more options such as order numbers, account numbers etc.

The ability to track multiple parcels at once. Before this I would have to go into each indiviudal order and get the tracking number then search directly on the courier website, which took forever when dealing with multiple queries

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

ParcelLab has been awesome for us! It has really changed how we handle the whole post-purchase process. Our customers stay updated all the time, which has cut down on those 'where’s my order?' messages a lot. I set up custom notifications pretty easily, and customers seem to like knowing exactly what's happening. It works well with our Shopify store—no complicated setup—and it connects to all the carriers we use, so that was a win. The dashboard gives us some pretty detailed insights about our shipping performance that we never even thought to look at before, which has actually helped us improve our shipping process in itself.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

ParcelLab has a lot of great features, but it can be a little on the pricey side, which might be challenging for smaller businesses. For us, it’s not an issue, but I can see how it could be a barrier. Also, there’s no free trial available from what I can see and was not offered one during onboarding, which makes it tricky for new customers to see the value before committing. It would be even better if they could add more integrations with other customer service tools to make the platform even more flexible.

ParcelLab has really been a great help within the business with tracking and deliveries. The real-time updates and proactive communication keep our customers in the loop, which cuts down on those where's my order? questions. It’s also great for quickly sorting out any delivery issues that come up. I especially like that we can personalize the post-purchase messages—it turns a boring tracking update into something that feels branded and engaging.

For us, it’s led to fewer support requests, smoother logistics, and happier customers. The analytics are also a nice touch, giving us insights to tweak our shipping and returns based on real results.

I'm a big fan of the UI, its nice and simple, easy to navigate, and all the most important info is right on the manin page, no need for digging through submenus or opening 3 extra dinows just to find what step an order is at. Really great UX overall, definitely a top tier tool in it's class.

Perhaps I expected a bit more speed in the usual integrations. The issue with users and passwords has been complicated, given that the ones we had didn't work and managing it with the carriers has been tedious.

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

parcelLab has been increadibly reliable and innovative as a partner in status update communication and tracking of customer orders. The contact I have had with the assigned parcelLab account manager and the supporting IT team has been mostly excellent and fast. The parcelLab portal is very easy to use for me and my co-workers, and integrating carriers within the system was fairly effortless and quick. I especially like the added features of Campaign Manager and Trending Late, making personalisation of communication to customers easy and enables better tracking of delays and other deviations in my organisation. I have no personal experience with implementing parcelLab within my company, but experiences shared with co-workers in the past are mostly positive.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

I have had some experiences where technical or IT support from parcelLab has been slower than expected, leading to additional delays in implementation process for my company. parcelLab are however happy to learn from these situations and improve their service accordingly. The analytics tools provided by parcelLab in the portal give helpful data, but these are still in development and do not offer the same amount of detail that our internal analytics tools or Google Analytics can offer. parcelLab also is still developing solutions to discover potentials errors in the system or data connections, but this is not yet at a level where parcelLab will be able to discover these issues before my organisation has already discovered it. Finally, we do not have a contact person in our country, so we have no local support available.

**What problems is parcelLab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

parcelLab offers more ways to personalize and quickly update customer communication that my internal organisation cannot. My interal organisation focuses on centralisation and generalisation of communication, but with parcelLab we can easily create personalised experiences for our customers. The editor to change messages and templates is easy to use, even for a user like myself that has very limited knowledge of email editors and HTML code. Our internal emails all required help of developers to configure, but with parcelLab this is no longer required. Next to that, parcelLab also allows us to have a database of all historic trackings and communications that were sent out to a specific customer, internally we do not have this ability. This makes it possible for us to check a complete customer journey from beginning to end With parcelLab, we have also developed a way to replace the classical way of returning products (print your return label and put it on the return parcel) with a fully digital solution, where a printer is no longer required and just a barcode on your mobile phone is enough to process the parcel return. Without parcelLab, this would not have been possible. This also helps us achieve our sustainability goals as an added benefit.
