Perks about Parcel Lab:
- Support quick and efficient. 
- The tracking page looks great. 
- The communications sent to the customer are easy to implent (difficult to monitor)

Downsides:
- There are not good tools to monitor performance of communications sent to the customer.

I would have loved to have used their returns portal but there is no integrated payment option and we weren't in the position to do our own integration

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

The aspect that I appreciated most in parcelLab is its usability. It is very easy to incorporate it with our existing e-commerce infrastructure and has improved our operations significantly. Shipment tracking is smooth which has helped improve our customer relations through quick information sharing. This is because the software offers many conveniences, including automatic notifications and comprehensive reports, to ensure the delivery of first class service. It has become easier to inform the customers on their delivery which has reduced inquiries and enhanced the satisfaction level.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

There is one disadvantage of using parcelLab – the service is not always instant, and may be slow in sending notifications. Sometimes we may find that shipment information is not synchronized across our systems, affecting customer support performance. Also, the process of implementation was a little cumbersome, as it took more time, and resources were a bit more than estimated. These weaknesses have led to certain frustration within our team since updates in a timely manner are important for the continuation of customer’s trust and satisfaction.

parcelLab addresses the vital challenge of enhancing customers’ satisfaction after purchase through tracking shipments in real time and engaging in proactive communication. Since clients are aware of their order status, it reduces other questions and queries about their shipment and orders hence freeing up the customer support team to tackle other complex issues. Other features, such as integration, help optimize our logistics, reducing the number of mistakes in shipping. In sum, parcelLab offers benefits for the customers enhancing satisfaction and optimizes the efficiency of the operations.

Not using the correct words which describe the statuses, for example: "The item is delivered" which sometimes does not mean delivered to the customer, but that the carrier received it, so it should be changed to "Received by carrier" to help distinguish the delivered items from the non delivered

The best aspect that I found in parcelLab is the tracking and messaging system that it provides. It offers shipment tracking information that is actually useful and real time to enable us to update our customers and make them satisfied. We link it easily to our e-commerce platform that enables auto updation and selective alert mechanisms. The flexibility of the communication templates helps in maintaining consistency our brand across the shipping process and eventually leaving a lasting impression on the clients.

One thing I dislike about parcelLab is the occasional delay in updating tracking information. Sometimes, there are discrepancies between the actual shipment status and what is displayed in the system, which can lead to confusion among customers. Additionally, while the platform is feature-rich, the learning curve for new users can be steep, requiring significant training to fully utilize its capabilities. These issues have occasionally impacted our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

With the help of parcelLab, our shipment tracking and customer communication issues have been addressed. The audit centralization of shipment tracking data has enhanced customer expectation management and reduced support inquiries. The notifications and tracking pages with branded content have improved our brand image and customer engagement. This has helped to reduce the time spent on solving problems from customers thereby increasing our ability to serve the customers in a proactive manner hence increasing the level of satisfaction from the customers hence improving the retention level of the customers.

Really easy to see if customer has had previous claims, when working in customer care.

At times, live updates from the courier are not up to date, however it is rare. 

Would be really useful to have the collection reference listed for DPD collections as well to make it easier to track down

When we onboarded with parcelLab, Julian bent over backwards to make the process as seamless as possible. We migrated over from Narvar, which was an horrible, painful experience. parcelLab was a dream to use and had great support technicians for training members of the team.

Members of our team report that formatting of daily returns reports is a bit frustrating.

ParcelLab provides us with a full data package in both systems package tracking and returns. Furhermore they also provide us with a specific customizing to maximize our best approach of delivering customer systems with high usability. Beyond that parcelLab offers me to also work and develop the product further in Beta workshops - this is very helpful to implement a system that meets customers expectations immediately in the end.

My view on what is special about parcelLab is that it has tracking and very detailed delivery information update. It means they support our customers helping them to stay updated, notwithstanding the fact that they receive fewer calls and emails. Currently, it is easy to embed with our e-commerce platform and it allows for proper exchange of data as well as quick processing of orders. The notices are not only useful in informing the right individual but also assist the customers to have a professional touch thus enhancing their experience.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

However, there is potential for more customization within parcelLab concerning the track notifications. Still, as it sends updates, the option of tailoring these notices according to the firm’s branding or matching the client’s preference is limited. This sometimes impacts our connection with the customers as there is a break in the brand association throughout the delivery process. Furthermore, the firm can improve the usability of the product, since its interface is somewhat confusing and it takes time to teach it to new clients.

parcelLab assists us in informing the customers on the status of their deliveries which reduces a number of calls and emails we receive. It also helped to reduce the number of customer cases our support team has to deal with, thus making the efficiency of our support staff higher. The real time and elaborate tracking and updates provide valuable information to the customers regarding the status of their shipment hence customers are highly satisfied. However, integrating to the current systems to manage orders becomes much easier because of its features.

Ease of seeing status of the package regardless of how many carriers you have.  Lots of innovative features to continue to increase the customer experience. No limitations to licenses which is helpful for a large customer support team. Integrates into Zendesk really nicely meaning the team do not have to screen switch as often.

**What do you like best about parcelLab?**

I like parcelLab a lot because they have good technical support, their user interface is easy to work with and they always introduce new features.

The technical support team is very knowledgeable and always ready to help. They have people based in multiple timezones, so no matter when we write them, we never have to wait more than 24 hours to get a reply.

Browsing through the platform is incredibly easy, it's easy to understand (although did take some time to get used to), and it helps us understand our customer journey from start to finish. The frequent updates and new features that parcelLab introduces, also helps us to improve our understanding of the customer journey and experience.

**What do you dislike about parcelLab?**

While parcelLab offers a wide range of features and great customer support, one area that could be improved is the customisation for smaller businesses. The advanced customisation options can feel a bit overwhelming for small companies without dedicated IT team or other technical resources. For example, to efficiently update your emails, you will need someone who is good at programming.

I think some easier customisation options to remove the programming requirement will help smaller companies to allow marketing people to change the emails instead of needing to hire a programmer for it.

**What problems is parcelLab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The emails sent by parcelLab, allow us to completely own the communication with the customer, and no email communication is needed from our carriers. This proactive communication has significantly lowered the pressure on our contact center, removing a lot of requests for information about the delivery status.

Partnership started via a trial and then rapidly grew from country to country, this was achieveble only by the strong results we gained from using the product. It is no doubt Parcellab brought a higher customer satisfaction due to its strong capabilities with the native language support for a braod section of markets, with its efficient and highly appriciated UX.

I have a hard time to say there was anything negative now when i look back, there was a strong collab with the team and they delivered beyond expectations.

It was mainly the frequent and consumer friendly updates in communication for deliveries. For us it was crusial - since we had many (costly) inquiries to customer service regarding the shipment status. We could decrease costs and increase customer satisfaction in a totally new and pro-active way.

As a company, they are concerned to ensure the best integration, taking into account the limitations of the company's structure.
Once we needed support from ParcelLab and the service was excellent and was resolved within the same day.

The disadvantage is that it is not our internal solution. ParcelLab is a third party and we are integrated with them. However, sometimes it is also an advantage...

We can customise carrier tracking communications, depending on the type of order and the carrier.
When carriers sometimes deliver late due to road problems (for example), we can quickly modify the carrier's communications and notify our customers.
