It's not over-engineered. They've taken what a business truly needs and have created that. There is little in the way of configuration from a front end approach and it's surprisingly refreshing. That way you get what is important not what you think you want. Don't get me wrong, they still have the ability to support some edge case reporting requirements and will take feedback on board. The implementation was seamless and very straight forward. Initially our CSR and logistics team weren't keen on managing yet another system to cater for logistics and customer content. Until they had a demo. And PL, even though the implementation was complete, still supported onboarding of our staff with training and further training if required. We are probably quite a bit different from their normal customers, and while it was still our fault in how we migrated data over prior to go live, a more formal implementation plan may have been helpful. I am probably being overly critical though. It was raised, we ignored and we had to scramble for 2 days to meet our deadline. When i first came in almost 6 months ago my parcel lab was not working, whenever we got it active, it made my job simpler, as i can look at more deeply into tracking informations, communications sent to customers, etc. I would love to be able to leave notes for the carriers i dont know if that could be possible from parcel lab. It's easy to navigate and understand, it makes really easy to check all the information about the parcel we are investigating. It allows to resend important emails to the customer and also to change the detail of the email address if there's a typo. I have to use almost always, in every interaction I have. The claim for missing items doesn't allow to choose exactly which item is missing.

ParcelLab has been helping us with our communications and order tracking information in a seamless manner because of which our customers have been receiving timely order updates. This has improved our operations and has also helped us in creating a valued relationship with our customers.
The tool is very easy to use and the overall implementation has also been very smooth. We use the tool frequently and if we encounter any issues the customer support is super helpful and prompt in their response.

Parcel labs have afforded us the ability to dive deeper into the reason for a delivery issue for our customers. We use about three different tools to determine the position of a delivery and Parcel labs gives the absolute best information in real time! Tracking is easy, communication between us, the customers and the delivery drivers are so much easier and the best features is the notification status on the customer's end and the live pictures the delivery driver can leave as proof of delivery. The only downsize I can say it not being able to change or modify any information that is already in the system. It is mainly for viewing, tracking and having a clearer idea on the delivery issue if any. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that we have the ability to tweak the amount of updates we send our consumers regarding their packages. It's also easy for our CS team to make updates to an address that they are creating a return on if the customer used a non validated address.One of our main support people (Matt McGinnis but is no longer our dedicated person) provided us with phenomenal support, I can't say enough great things about him. There's room for improvement on the new portal - your filters in the tracking page need broken down a bit.
If a support ticket needs filed, it takes weeks, sometimes months just to get a resolution, while you get asked repetitive information. I think you should focus on boosting your support a bit to help your customers with their needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It seems like we could be a little straighter forward with the way we lookup tracking numbers for returns, also on our end the claim system is not working properly, and we have been working to get it solved but it seems like so far it hasn't been resolved yet. The parts I like the most about parcelLab are the reports and the metrics module, they are customizable and very complete, which allows you to work in depth to improve the messages you send to your customers. I also find very useful the ability to adapt the messages, customize them and make modifications very quickly, which is very necessary in emergency situations. The improvement part is to have a faster update of the user manuals with all the new features that are being implemented, it is a tool in constant evolution and there are very interesting new functions and it would be useful to have faster information about them to be able to use them. Very quick with a friendly user interface. Allows me to track many orders and to also check the history of processing with the dates and time. It is even so accurate that it gives you the exact hour and minutes so that I can investigate thoroughly even when time differences are so short. It is really a life saver!
