Paperless Pros and Cons

The platform is excellent as it helps users streamline their management by proficiently collecting necessary information ensuring accurate filing and compliance with regulations offering more tailored suggestions and reducing potential errors. Its user interface is a bit clumsy and should be improved and also it often freezes and fails to create accurate reports consistently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paperless has been useful to me in organizing my personal documents. I use Paperless where documents are categorized by the owner, correspondent, type, and then you can label your documents with any tags you feel like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The major disadvantage of Paperless is that I cannot access documents offline when needed. For instances or any time I am out of my home or there is a low internet connection I have no way of accessing the stored files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As for the papers, Paperless has been rather useful in the organization of my personal papers. It let me scan and sort all necessary documents starting from the checks, contracts, taxes, and ending with recepts and guarantees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a bit messy compared to the other document management apps I have used, but I like Paperless. Sometimes, the navigation can be a bit challenging especially when it comes to looking for certain documents on the smaller screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best aspect of Paperless for me was the built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature. In most apps, your scanned documents and photos would still be images – photos of text. Within Paperless you can mark certain parts of pages (such as emails, invoices or receipts) as covered-text and the software will try to directly extract that text, making it searchable and categorising the item appropriately. For example, if you decide that all of your incoming invoices should be indexed by a certain tax label, paperless learns that too and will start to apply automagic rules to new inflowing documents, doing your category selection for you.
