What do you like best about Oracle JDeveloper?

Actually I don't really like this IDE, it was the worst IDE I had to test for Java Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle JDeveloper?

Actually first of all it forced me to use an old JDK (1.6) while I had 1.8 by default so the library I was testing on, showed some issues in compilation with mismatch version of the JDKs. So I had to do some research to know how the ....I changed that, and well, I didn't even know how to compile and debug and a lot of wrong stuff with this IDE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Oracle JDeveloper:

Don't use it, use NetBeans or other because this one, is very bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle JDeveloper solving and how is that benefiting you?

None, I was just helping a client with some issues using JDeveloper, at the end, she choose to leave it and use NetBeans instead of JDeveloper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle JDeveloper?

As a developer I have found it to be one of best in the market.

The integration of Java and SQL is really impressive. It helps in working seamlessly.

It has has wide variety of features that helps you to play along with the code on the development side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle JDeveloper?

Personally I feel like, they should have made the user interface to be more descriptive and clear .

Since it seems to be little messy.

What I like best about Oracle JDeveloper is its comprehensive set of features and tools that allow me to develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications and web services quickly and easily. What do you like best about Oracle JDeveloper?

Oracle JDeveloper is a core java and J2EE free integrated development environment which allows users to build software quickly.

Version control systems like GIT and SVN can easily be integrated with the JDeveloper.

Addition Plugins like Maven and Gradle are available for Dependency management.

It's not suitable for large-scale complex applications.

It takes a lot of RAM from the system.
