Though this application is not meant for upside down customizations there is very little room for customizations considering this is not a daily use application. Business logic anyways can be handled with Oracle PL SQL if demantra can be installed on an Oracle Database I'm not sure if demantra can be installed on other databases. Demand planning can be done in multiple dimensions and data model can be setup easy to high complex structure to support the business. Easy to do customization as well with flexible custom hooks across the suite. Very few tables to hold the master data and forecast data makes interfacing the data easy. Analytical engine which generates the forecast uses highly complex algorithms and it is flexible to provide engine turning to smoothen the forecast graph. This can easily integrate forecast output data with Oracle ASCP for supply chain planning. You cant create a seasonality profile if your business experience that type of demand. We were offered a maximum of 104 weeks of demand which will not allow the program to recognize seasonality.

Very slow to react to significant demand changes which can result in overstock or inventory shortages.
