Every morning, the first 2 things I open are my e-mail and opendock. It is such a big part of how we operate and what we use every day. We love being able to schedule and track our carriers daily for on time, lates, damages and being able to add our own unique tags. We also love have the metrics available to look back and see what carriers are doing well, who needs to do better and who we should think about letting go. We have had relatively few complaints about using opendock, and once getting past the extremely small learning curve, the ease of use for both us and the carriers has ben obvious.
It was extremely easy to set up, I actually had 90% of it set up before my phone call with the set up team and it was only the finer points that I had not yet realized were available. We have only had to contact customer support once and quickly realized it was our own mistake that caused us a minor problem, but they were quick and easy to get in touch with. There isn't much I would change at this point. Possibly the abilty to hide canceled appointments without completely deleting them, but not having them still visible with the active schedule is about my only input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The number of features is wonderful. Moving/rescheduling appointments is so easy and we love that when there is a NO SHOW it will send an email to the carrier right away. Opendock is very user friendly. The grid view is easy on the eyes. It is easy for vendors and shippers to add their appointments. It is also easy for them to edit their delivery appointments or add notes. We had no problem getting vendors and shippers to jump on board with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
some users were frustrated when their slot was filled but they were coming anyway and had no choice, like coming across multiple states.. what to do ?

With the recent update you can no longer get all your appointments one one screen. You only get 30 now and have to go to next page. Also that you cannot click on the appointment and pull it up. you have to go to the eye to pull the appointment up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use platform as a spectator role. Upgrade has made it easier to view appointments and visualize scheduling by docks and locations, especially in grid view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall as a spectator there are not a lot of things I dislike, it's overall easy to use and navigate. I think the option to search for POs in grid view would be nice instead of just list view as I am usually in grid view
A waitlist of sorts for carriers would be nice as I get a lot of emails when appointments are backed up or there are not options for their specific day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how organized and color coordinated the calendar is, makes it easy to read and follow. I also love how flexible the features are and how we can make edits to existing appointments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a cross-dock functionality where businesses with mulitple warehouses can change warehouses as an option when carriers setup appointments at the wrong facility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
visibility of scheduleing and the analytics off the back end to make use of the data created. We went from operating blindly to having full visability of our docks nation wide.
