I love that Signal is encrypted. I have nothing to hide, yet the beauty of having encryption with the option of automatically deleted messages makes every deal that much safer and secure. I would even feel comfortable sending passwords or credit card information over Signal if I had to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is little that I dislike at this point. When I'm using the application on my phone, it sometimes gets stuck on a message when I'm using swipe for navigation, but other than that, I'm happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For me! I like the video chat which is working well. rather than other well-known and very famous apps like Wu. where I have never succeeded to make one video call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really dislike making a notification sound for every message you receive, even if you are opening the chat. For example, if you open a chat and text someone, and that person sends you a message, your phone will ring to alert you that you have a message. that's annoying a little bit. You can make it silent when I am already opening this chat and texting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use is just great. We send almost everything via Signal internally and has almost replaced our email usage. The other best thing is the convenience of maintaining threads Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only fear we also have about Signal is the privacy issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a Meta product. Peer to peer communication with text and media. At least the data is in safer hands, even after two sides authenticated the messages in whatsapp gets public, so, it is the best thing about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Features are not so standard. The monopoly of software isn't in the community's best interest. Compared to the market standard, it is not up to the mark yet. There is more room for improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Signal's messaging is end-to-end encrypted so your data is far safer than when using other applications. I use this with a number of group conversations and everyone that uses it within our groups really likes the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing I don't like about this application is that is when using android you can choose to use it as your default messaging application for SMS and MMS messages. If you have a contact that has signal installed but doesn't use it very much, the application will default to sending a message through signal. If they're someone that doesn't check signal very often then they won't receive the message for a while. I'd like it if there was an option to set the default sending method (Signal, or SMS) for specific conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best thing about signal is its simplicity to use and security and privacy it provides . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am very disappointed to see SMS support feature discontinued. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Signal is the best safe and secure messaging application now available in the market. we don't need to bother about privacy, it's very safe to use and the data is protected in the communication. The UI is also very simple and the total memory usage of the application is very low compared to other messaging applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no option to see whoever viewed our sent messages in the group. also, it has some connectivity issues in a low bandwidth network. all other features are perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is secure and fast, more importantly free. It asks for secure key to make sure it is secure and no one csn sneek in my privacy. Also it can securely back up my back ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Importing chats from other messaging apps. I believe plug and play, where i could just install app and migrate all my stuff to new train with me stuck in losing my chats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Signal is a very easy platform to use. Starting with the simple user creation process, it feels natural and intuitive to begin adding contacts and start messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only inconvenience I have ever experienced while using Signal involved moving my account to a new platform. When I upgraded my devices, I had to reinstall Signal and log into my account, however, I found that the history of all my messages was gone. This was only a slight inconvenience and highlights the importance of privacy in the Signal platform as all messages are stored locally and not on a corporate server.
