What do you like best about Oomnitza?

We use Oomnitza as the single source of truth for all IT assets across our organization. It lets us consolidate our hardware assets into one system and automatically pulls data from multiple tools, which helps eliminate fragmented systems and scattered information. Oomnitza also automates workflows that support documentation, making our reporting more accurate and consistent. What do you like best about Oomnitza?

What I like most is the flexibility and integration depth. From an engineering standpoint, Oomnitza isn’t just an asset database — it’s a true aggregation and automation layer. I can normalize data across Jamf, Intune, Tanium, SentinelOne, Okta, etc., and actually act on that data through workflows and APIs. It’s highly customizable, which makes it powerful for building real operational processes instead of just reporting. What do you dislike about Oomnitza?

Because it’s so flexible, there’s definitely a learning curve. Initial setup, schema design, and workflow logic can feel complex without strong planning or technical ownership. Some UI areas and documentation could be more intuitive, especially for new admins. It’s powerful, but not always plug-and-play - you need someone technical to really unlock its value. First and foremost, a very engaged and responsive pool of support staff and CSMs. It's rare to have your account rep and general support staff so open to feedback and willing to roll up their sleeves to help build solutions for odd problems. Very hands on team.

What do you like best about Oomnitza?

Since we have integrated Oomnitza here at Docker, Inc., we have had nothing short of an excellent experience. We were in desparate need of a certalized asset management system and Oomnitza has alleviated that need. On top of hosting all of our assets in one place, we have also worked with the Oomnitza support team to implement numerous integrations to assist us with automating onboarding, offboarding, compliance, audit, MDM enrollment, and more. The team is always very eager to jump in and help and ultra-fast with their responses! The integrations to various systems (MDM, IAM, HRIS, etc) are very simple to set up and you can customize just about anything you can think of within the GUI. What do you like best about Oomnitza?

Oomnitza has been a helpful tool for keeping track of our assets and ensuring everything stays organized and accounted for. Previously we had used an in-house solution for keeping track of purchases, and so far Oomnitza has surpassed its ease of use and has been beneficial to getting our assets back in a suitable state. On top of its ease of use, the team behind the software has been more than helpful in getting everything set up and working for our company's specific needs.
