Top Rated OnSIP Alternatives
OnSIP is a fantastic service. The pricing cannot be beaten for phone service. We are using the service in a small manufacturing facility. I've managed the IT department of a similar sized organization and we were paying 10 times as much using a traditional phone service.
The support team is very responsive. If you have an issue or a question, reach out to them. They respond right away.
The service supports a wide range of IP phones. We are using Cisco phones on the network and they work great. When we needed to add a cordless phone, we were able to add one by a different vendor and it works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the setup of the phones can be a hassle. I've struggled to get some of the Cisco phones to adopt to the network. Not sure if it is a hardware problem or a problem with the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Onsip has always been there for us. Their customer service is fantastic! Whenever we had a question or issue, it was resolved immediately. There is always a live person to speak with on the phone, and they answer your calls with no waiting time. Onsip has made having a VOIP phone service extremely easy to maintain, as well as providing a value for your dollar. Additionally, the phone reps are very friendly and courteous. Honestly, I can't really say I dislike anything about Onsip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the web app, the computer download, and the app functionality. This gives me the flexibility needed for all types of work settings. I also like the system check functionality as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides! It might be nice to change the ringtone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OnSip is a great platform that can be customized in so many ways to serve a variety of purposes. I was hosting a fundraising event that needed a 1-800 number routed to make-shift call center. It was a very specific request and OnSip walked me through the entire setup live and provided day-of tech support. The support team member even did a very professional recording for when you called into the 1-800 number at no additional cost. The support allowed for 100s of phone calls to ping to a call center staffed by 10 volunteers on laptops for the fundraiser. There was not one issue the entire day. What I love about Onsip is the customization, it can do whatever you need it to do and the live and easy-to-access support can walk you through the setup that fits your needs. I had spoken with ATT and Comcast to set up the 1-800 lines and it was going to be so expensive, involved drilling and rolling out phone lines on the floor. I spoke with Zoom and the customer support was dismal, I was contacted by sales people trying to sell me large packages and there was no tech support for setting up event and delays between communication. I wish I had found Onsip earlier as it was such a simple solution with phenomenal customer service. I will definitely be using them again for specialty events. Absolutely nothing. I have never had such a positive experience with a tech company. I think they could do a better job of advertising because, based on my experience, they are far superior to Google meets, Hangouts, Microsoft Teams, etc but it took me some digging and research to find them. What OnSIP does better than our previous VOIP phone service is pretty much everything. You can transfer phones between users effortlessly when they are away for vacation. Voicemail is way easier to manage. Their desktop app works well and makes inter-office calling a breeze. You can literally transfer calls by dragging and dropping it on the proper user. We set up our 1-800 number with a menu in the system and had it ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish we had found it sooner. Maybe they could have more choices for hold music? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great support staff, solid reliable service when using for deskphone. Easily navigable and customizable user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softphone and app aren't super reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I can use it on my cell phone, but only when connected to WiFi Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I have to be connected to WiFi for the mobile feature to work. Also, we have a lot of issues with sound cutting out. Doesn't feel very professional when talking with clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great for small business since it is easier to manage than an actual PBX. Easy to use. Fair amount of functions. the customer service team is friendly and professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited interaction with company. Need to reach out to keep communication open and learn about different services. Presented with a third party reseller only to open tickets. Do not use Cloud 9. Waste of money, you can do this yourself or interact with tech support from Onsip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard and app. And ability to get calls on my personal cell. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Changing users is way too difficult. We experience consistent turnover by season and it seems like it should be easier to make changes to names, extensions, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Flexibility of location. Price per line is competitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
App has issues connecting. Loses calls as they come in. Occasionally loses calls after connecting. Business Rules needs a holiday schedule option. Control of who is an admin should be self-managed and not need to go through support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the option of working mobile and being able to change who we have taken reception calls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ehh the app slacks a lot, its not fast and takes time to cancel calls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
