I really want to love SpiderOak, they were the first to offer zero-knowledge backup and their focus on privacy is unparalleled. The security is top-notch and they support all platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The desktop applications are incredibly resource heavy for a backup program even beyond the overhead I would expect for encryption. There is no simple way to prune backups so your backups eventually overfill and you have to manually (yes, using the command line!) prune all the old copies. This is an incredibly stupid design. Sync occasionally breaks for seemingly no reason, re-syncing can take hours to days even on a fast connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One Backup has extensive functionality to share with excellent synchronization functions. I like that it synchronizes all the files to the folders that I select and at the same time it creates a similar folder in the hard disk that is synchronized there.
