I was looking for a way to screen grab an entire landing page instead of taking individual snippets while scrolling down. I came across Nimbus Capture through Google Chrome Extensions and decided to give it a try. It was super simple to install and use. I had my first screen grab within 4 minutes of discovering the platform. You also can get creative with the different types of capture options available. The best part is that it's FREE. Haven't had to pay for anything yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure I can really say I dislike anything about it, at the moment. It's very simple and easy to install / use. With simple platforms as Nimbus Capture, there really isn't much you could even dislike. It's just that easy and straight forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nimbus is a tool that have all you need when you have to take full screenshots of a site. Capture a fragment, the visible part of the page, the selected area even with scroll, the whole browser, a delayed shot, or even take videos for the sites with animations. There are some shots that get noise from the animated objects, it will be great if Nimbus could wait till the animation stops so then take the shot. Probably there are some sites you simply can't take a shot like that and have to use de video recorder, but it would be great if the app could do it for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nimbus is extremely easy to use! The Google Chrome extension makes it extremely easy to be able to take screenshots while browsing or to get a screenshot of a specific part of a webpage. I have also used the screen recording function which has worked great! There are a lot of great integrations with Slack or Google Drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nimbus seems to update quite a bit (which is not a bad thing), but when they update their Chrome extension, you have to see the release notes in a new tab for the new version before being able to use the tool. Often times, I am simply clicking it real quick to open it up and then closing the tab immediately because I simply want to use the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Nimbus Capture is a great experience since it is free, fast and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Nimbus Capture on mobile devices it is not the same thing. But mostly because of the limitations mobile phone has concerning screen size and zooming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
