I can't really come up with anything consistently negative to say. Some of their offerings had minor technical issues over time, but they've always been quick to address them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is easy to get to, and quick to fix issues. Having the ability to do hardware refreshes through the platform is nice. Simple to add/remove licenses and provisioning of devices is easy. Integration into generic devices is easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of feature administrative ability through the platform. Too many functions that are available to admins through other platforms, such as FreePBX, are hidden behind a secret "Admin panel" that is only accessible to support agents. Simple things that are common place in PBX systems seem hard or over simplified/impossible to get to. Very easy to use which is definitely attractive for small businesses and those needing a simple interface, but adds a lot of frustration for enterprise admins who want/need that feature functionality without having to contact someone else to accomplish something.
App interoperability between desk phone, desktop, and mobile devices, while improved, also needs work and frequently bugs out/drops calls on first ring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nextiva is the best platform I have worked with,I like everything about Nextiva. When I first started my new job, I had nothing but trouble with my desk phone. When I finally got a phone that worked properly, I had to call Nextiva customer support to set up my desk phone so I could make and receive calls from my clients and their caregivers. The representative that handled my phone setup was courteous, knowledgeable, and very patient. He didn't get aggravated with me when we had difficulties with my router not showing the IP address like it was supposed to, he just kept his cool and didn't stop trying until we got my phone online and connected even though it took way longer than usual to do it. As for the service itself, I have found that this phone service is reliable and it seems to provide very clear calls with little to no issues or downtime so far. I would highly recommend this service to anyone I know who is needing a reliable phone service for their office. It really is a great service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I haven't seen anything that I don't like about this service. It hasn't let me down yet! I've had no issues with connecting to my calls or them connecting to me, and I haven't had any issues with my callers being able to hear me clearly when we're on the phone. So far it's been great. The best VoIP Provider I've ever seen. Incredible Contact Center Software that is super user friendly. Very easy to use and implement across any system. The upgrade to Nextiva was flawless. I have been a customer with Nextiva for over 3 years now, and I am very pleased with the service. Never have service interruptions, and their app integrations across mobile/desktop devices are very seamless. For what you get, this is a very affordable solution for small businesses. If I have periodic issues or questions on changing technical things, their support team via live chat is easy to reach and very helpful/courteous. We are currently dealing with a system outage for our after hours service that we transfer calls out to. I reached out hoping Nextiva could help me find a workable solution while our after hours was down. The rep was able to provide lots of ideas and solutions that would work perfect. We ended up not needing to use the solutions that were provided but the knowledge of Nextiva the rep had along with suggestions was absolutely wonderful.!!Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've used many VOIP services over the years. It always seems like they overpromise, underdeliver and the customer service is terrible if your're a small acount.
With Nextiva it has been the opposite. Set up was easy. The tech support through chat is responsive and knowledgable. Short waits and the IT support knows the product well.
Also the call quality is crystal clear which is really important when your using voip as your main phone line to communicate with customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would've liked if setting up text messaging was part of the initial set up. It wasn't clear that text messaging set up was a seperate task to be done by Nextiva. However, when I contacted them they set it up immeadiately so it wasn't an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nextiva is incredibly simple to configure, you can make it as easy or as complicated as you want. I'm very thankful for that as we use this product every single day to communicate with customers. We have multiple call groups so that all calls are routed to the right person/people. Nextiva is one of our strong backbones that keep our customers happy. Adding new devices is very easy and takes only a few minutes and it even lets you automatically apply that new device to an existing user who does not have one assigned. Employees are happy about how easy the app is to use and allows us to use messaging along with our calls. Nextiva's support is bang on and is always quick to respond, I've never had an issue last more than 2 days maximum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are very few things to dislike about Nextiva. There can be some issues with user accounts that aren't quite clear as to why they're happening and support contact is needed to figure out the bug. I've been locked out of my administrator account a few time due to users being configured incorrectly. There are the occasionaly bugs/glitches on their website that can be slightly frustrating to deal with but that wouldn't change my recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
