What do you like best about Nextiva?

Out of all of the third-parties our company works with, Nextiva's Support Team is by far the most reponsive, patient, and understanding group I've had the pleasure of working with. Their Support Team is well-versed, knowledgable, and flexible, and it seems my issues always get resolved the very first time I reach out to them for support. What do you dislike about Nextiva?

While their Nextiva / NextOS Voice portal is certainly not the worst administrative interface I've worked in, I do find that it's a bit confusing attempting to locate where a phone number or extension is hiding: having to jump around between the 'auto attendant', 'call groups', 'call center locations', and 'users' and manually search through each section is a more time consuming process than I feel it needs to be. What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

To put it simply: Nextiva services allow our team to keep in touch with one another with minimal disruption. This is vital to the success of any growing operation and has, undoubtedly, lent greatly to our growth as an organization. Despite the concerns I've expressed, I find Nextiva to be a greatly reliable and extremely professional connected communications company, and I'm very thankful I've been able to rely on their services and support team so heavily in my years working with them. What do you like best about Nextiva?

We signed up for Nextiva a few days ago. The customer service and onboarding process so far have been excellent. The desk phone arrived 48 hours after we signed up, and aside from a small hiccup with the time zone settings (which turned out to be my own error and not on Nextiva at all) it was an incredibly fast and easy setup! The audio quality is great. It was really easy to integrate into our existing tech stack. So far we have used this system daily. We are still exploring a lot of the features but so far they seem fairly simple to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Some of the things we are interested in involve paid upgrades that we do not feel are worth the investment. (For example, business texting and conference calling should be part of a base level package but they are only available on the 2nd tier and higher). There is also no option for an AI voice to generate the phone tree. I have used systems in the past where you simply typed out what you wanted the phone tree to say, selected an AI generated voice, and let it do it's thing. What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nextiva is solving the issue of needing a phone system for a small startup that doesn't break the bank. We have limited funds and a bootstrap budget. Nextiva provides great value for what it costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We merged with another company and Nextiva helped make the communication portion of this merge seamless. Our customer communication is doing better than it ever has we have seen an uptick in our call volume yet our customer service scores are at an all time high. I moved out of a brick and mortar office and now work for myself. I love that I could port my old number easily and forward my VOIP line to my cell when needed. The Vfax and conference lines are a huge benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

It is reliable, fast and very easy to use. I am able to hear people clearly and also they cant hear me loud and clear. I also like the Messaging Feature and the history of all my contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

The transition to Nextiva was very smooth with no down time. Our staff of 60 uses Nextiva daily in the office and out in the field. What do you like best about Nextiva?

The mobile app could benefit from a visual update. Currently, the color scheme is quite neutral, making the interface appear bland. Introducing a vibrant color palette with clear accents for interactive elements could make the app more visually appealing. The layout is somewhat cluttered, particularly on the home screen. What do you like best about Nextiva?

I love all the functionality and customization that is included with this platform. There are even features that I really like that I didnt even know I would want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The mobile app could be a little better. Its much easier to use now that I have gotten used to how to access certain functions. Would be awesome if it had a toggle for the phone to ring or not when receiving a Nextiva call. For now, I have just been signing out of the app when I do not want business calls on my cell phone. What do you like best about Nextiva?

The customer service is fantastic. All throughout the implementation of our Nextiva phone system, the support and implementation team were fantastic. They were readily available and responded very quickly to questions and concerns. Integrating the new system was a much smoother process than I expected!

Since we implemented the system last summer, we have been very happy with the features and and functionality of the system overall.

The customer service continues to be top-notch after the initial implementation as well. I recently needed to use the chat function to help with an issue I had with setting up a new user. The customer service agent I chatted with was friendly and was able to help me resolve the issue very quickly.

The customer service is definitely a selling point for me. Their customer service (so far at least) seems to be better than similar/competing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Some of the features are not quite as user-friendly as similar products. The interface is a bit confusing at time, and not quite as straightforward as is perhaps could be. For example, recently I set up a new user and had to manually update the busy lamp field for every user. It would be nice if that feature was automated so that when a new user was added, the system would recognize the new user and automatically update all users in the system.

It can also be a little difficult to find some features and customize user preferences. It would help if the user profiles and the admin profile were a little simpler and more user friendly.

However, oveall, this is a solid product that I would recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are in a very rural area, and Nextiva is providing a VoIP service that other local providers are not able to supply. And it works! A few years ago, our company tried a VoIP system, but the quality was so poor that we had to switch back to landlines. Nextiva has worked really well in spite of our rural location.

We also have a call center integrated with our VoIP system that works well for queuing sales calls from our customer and enabling multiple calls among our sales staff. We have a very small company and we appreciate Nextiva's willingness to work with us and provide a solid service even though we are not a very big account for them. What do you like best about Nextiva?

The quality of calls are great and the features available are very helpful to stay in touch with customers and ease communication internally and externally. we were able to implement the system with ease and use is daily. I dont like the fact that so many features need customer support intervention to either active or implement. It sometimes get tedious to constantly get in touch with customer support to do this.
