Out of all of the third-parties our company works with, Nextiva's Support Team is by far the most reponsive, patient, and understanding group I've had the pleasure of working with. Their Support Team is well-versed, knowledgable, and flexible, and it seems my issues always get resolved the very first time I reach out to them for support. While their Nextiva / NextOS Voice portal is certainly not the worst administrative interface I've worked in, I do find that it's a bit confusing attempting to locate where a phone number or extension is hiding: having to jump around between the 'auto attendant', 'call groups', 'call center locations', and 'users' and manually search through each section is a more time consuming process than I feel it needs to be. We signed up for Nextiva a few days ago. The customer service and onboarding process so far have been excellent. The desk phone arrived 48 hours after we signed up, and aside from a small hiccup with the time zone settings (which turned out to be my own error and not on Nextiva at all) it was an incredibly fast and easy setup! The audio quality is great. It was really easy to integrate into our existing tech stack. So far we have used this system daily. We are still exploring a lot of the features but so far they seem fairly simple to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the things we are interested in involve paid upgrades that we do not feel are worth the investment. (For example, business texting and conference calling should be part of a base level package but they are only available on the 2nd tier and higher). There is also no option for an AI voice to generate the phone tree. I have used systems in the past where you simply typed out what you wanted the phone tree to say, selected an AI generated voice, and let it do it's thing. The transition to Nextiva was very smooth with no down time. Our staff of 60 uses Nextiva daily in the office and out in the field. The mobile app could benefit from a visual update. Currently, the color scheme is quite neutral, making the interface appear bland. Introducing a vibrant color palette with clear accents for interactive elements could make the app more visually appealing. The layout is somewhat cluttered, particularly on the home screen. The mobile app could be a little better. Its much easier to use now that I have gotten used to how to access certain functions. Would be awesome if it had a toggle for the phone to ring or not when receiving a Nextiva call. For now, I have just been signing out of the app when I do not want business calls on my cell phone. The customer service is fantastic. All throughout the implementation of our Nextiva phone system, the support and implementation team were fantastic. They were readily available and responded very quickly to questions and concerns. Integrating the new system was a much smoother process than I expected!
Since we implemented the system last summer, we have been very happy with the features and and functionality of the system overall.
The customer service continues to be top-notch after the initial implementation as well. I recently needed to use the chat function to help with an issue I had with setting up a new user. The customer service agent I chatted with was friendly and was able to help me resolve the issue very quickly.

Some of the features are not quite as user-friendly as similar products. The interface is a bit confusing at time, and not quite as straightforward as is perhaps could be. For example, recently I set up a new user and had to manually update the busy lamp field for every user. It would be nice if that feature was automated so that when a new user was added, the system would recognize the new user and automatically update all users in the system.
It can also be a little difficult to find some features and customize user preferences. It would help if the user profiles and the admin profile were a little simpler and more user friendly.

The quality of calls are great and the features available are very helpful to stay in touch with customers and ease communication internally and externally. we were able to implement the system with ease and use is daily. I dont like the fact that so many features need customer support intervention to either active or implement. It sometimes get tedious to constantly get in touch with customer support to do this. Features should be easily built into the admin portal and customers should have full control on how to use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
