In our office the strongest aspect of Nextiva is the moblilty of the platform that allows us to access our office phones from our desktops and cell phones as well as our in-office phones. Our least favorite part of Nextiva is the pace of customer support. As a business that fields dispatch fulllifulment in real time via phone, any amount of downtime is a enormous detriment to us. I have personally had to wait 1.5 hours for a Nextiva specialist to call back in order to fix an issue with our phone lines, which negatively impacted our productivity severely until the problem was corrected. Nextiva's Customer Service and Technical Service Department is the best I've ever encountered!
I had an issue with failed incoming calls and reached out to Nextiva's Technical Department via Chat. Ivan T was the technician and worked with me to troubleshoot the issue. He was extremely helpful and patient. He took the necessary time, and tried multiple options until he was able to resolve my issue.
My issue is resolved thanks to Ivan's patience and skill.

When I first started using Nextiva, the system worked flawlessly. Several months later, I began experiencing intermittent connection issues; incoming calls not ringing, and other times the call would go directly to my voicemail with no notification. I've contacted Nextiva about the issues and they worked quickly to resolve them - and it worked, for a period of time. Now, I'm having the same issues again. I have been blown away by the easy access to live people for support in the setting up of our business account. Everyone we have worked with so far has been so patient and very thorough (not on autopilot). They have been fine with me asking many, many questions and have always patiently explained things (sometimes more than once). It was much easier than I thought it would be to set up the call flow (seamless integration) and phone features. I was even given helpful tips specific to our unique needs. Well done! Let's start with Customer Support...great. Very knowledgeable and friendly and explain everything. Quick to answer questions. Now for the Service and the App itself, it's easy to use and navigate, very intuitive. Excellent reception. It has exactly the features I need for one fifth of what I was spending on my previous service. And I have all the same features as well. I like that you can personalize your own features according to your needs and are not bound to pre-chosen packages, half of which you may not even use, but yet are paying for. Nextiva is easy to use, easy to set up and integrates great with various main crm providers. If you need a more complicated set up than just a single user, the customer service team is quick to help and easy to work with. It is the first app I open every day to get my day started. Pretty much nothing they offer is best in class. So if I had to pick one thing that I "like best", it would be that it technically qualifies as a phone service as I'm able to make and receive phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pretty much every aspect of this phone service is second rate; the mobile app gets a C-; the online admin portal gets a C; it is difficult to manage callflows and voicemails. Desktop app gets an F as it does not make managing any aspect of my experience better. Does not meet any of the things you might expect from a modern, software-first VOIP system. Difficult to use. I like having the convenience of a VoIP system for remote work and that there is a capability of having the app on both my desktop and my mobile phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The service is very unreliable. It is not the most intuitive or user-friendly. Often, training others with its capabilities is very cumbersome and confusing. For example, transferring calls can be tricky and takes time to master.
The app often crashes and is not reliable at all. Whenever there is an update, prepare for Nextiva to have lots of issues for a period of time. Customer Service is absolutely awful and unhelpful.

I recently switched from Vonage to Nextiva and so happy I did. Of the VOIP Providers, Nextiva has been the easiest and most seamless transition I have encountered. Their customer service has been quick and very efficient. Call Center Software, both desktop and app are easy to navigate and straightforward. Set up for the UCaaS Platforms are easy to access and intuitive. The transition and ease of integration took just a few minutes and everything was up and running without any hassle. I have had occasion to use the software, call center and app daily since transitioning and wish I had done it months ago! Great technical support. Very knowledgeable. It has been very easy to get ahold of support team and they are always sharp and get right to the point. We are a medical group, and we use it every day without a hitch. We switched over from Vonage and the implementation team was great and fast. It was very easy to switch over to the new system.

the platform has matured over the years and is super easy to manipulate, when you have trouble, support knows exactly where to go and will fix it or show you where. Implementation team was super easy to work with side by side to get started and then just make adjustments along the way.
