What do you like best about Nextiva?

We have a unique situation in needing to have US numbers forwarded to international staff for phone calls. We just started working with Nextiva to make this happen and so far so good. The customer service has been top-notch. Nextiva was the 3rd VoIP company we called and within one hour of my submission on their website, they called, met our exact needs, we signed the contract and set up our account.

We reached out to Zoom with no response after 2 weeks of submitting a request on their website and while RingCentral contacted us right away, they never answered emails sent. I even set up a meeting with a rep, who never showed up to the meeting.

Nextiva spent 40 minutes with me on the phone setting up my account and walking me through anything I'd need to do within their system. Amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

Nextiva's Customer Service and Technical Service Department is the best I've ever encountered!

I had an issue with failed incoming calls and reached out to Nextiva's Technical Department via Chat. Ivan T was the technician and worked with me to troubleshoot the issue. He was extremely helpful and patient. He took the necessary time, and tried multiple options until he was able to resolve my issue.

My issue is resolved thanks to Ivan's patience and skill.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

When I first started using Nextiva, the system worked flawlessly. Several months later, I began experiencing intermittent connection issues; incoming calls not ringing, and other times the call would go directly to my voicemail with no notification. I've contacted Nextiva about the issues and they worked quickly to resolve them - and it worked, for a period of time. Now, I'm having the same issues again. It appears that every few months, the system error reappears. It's quite frustrating as I depend on this service for my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm a Canadian resident that works exclusively for a US based company. Nextiva worked flawlessly in the beginning, but after several months, I've had connectivity issues, such as incoming calls not ringing and calls going directly to voicemail. This is frustrating and has made me uneasy about the service quality. I need to have a a local presence, with a local phone number for my customers to use. What do you like best about Nextiva?

I have been blown away by the easy access to live people for support in the setting up of our business account. Everyone we have worked with so far has been so patient and very thorough (not on autopilot). They have been fine with me asking many, many questions and have always patiently explained things (sometimes more than once). It was much easier than I thought it would be to set up the call flow (seamless integration) and phone features. I was even given helpful tips specific to our unique needs. Well done! Nextiva is our solution to our continued issues (for an entire year) with our fiber optic phone provider. After four (2+ hours each) tech support sessions with our fiber optic phone provider and our clients would still get no ring/no connection/no way to leave a voicemail, we finally turned to Nextiva to solve our problems. What do you like best about Nextiva?

Let's start with Customer Support...great. Very knowledgeable and friendly and explain everything. Quick to answer questions. Now for the Service and the App itself, it's easy to use and navigate, very intuitive. Excellent reception. It has exactly the features I need for one fifth of what I was spending on my previous service. And I have all the same features as well. I like that you can personalize your own features according to your needs and are not bound to pre-chosen packages, half of which you may not even use, but yet are paying for. What do you like best about Nextiva?

Nextiva is easy to use, easy to set up and integrates great with various main crm providers. If you need a more complicated set up than just a single user, the customer service team is quick to help and easy to work with. It is the first app I open every day to get my day started. The phone app could use a little work, since every time I answer a call on my phone app, it hangs up the call and dials the customer back. Other than that, it's a great app! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

Pretty much nothing they offer is best in class. So if I had to pick one thing that I "like best", it would be that it technically qualifies as a phone service as I'm able to make and receive phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Pretty much every aspect of this phone service is second rate; the mobile app gets a C-; the online admin portal gets a C; it is difficult to manage callflows and voicemails. Desktop app gets an F as it does not make managing any aspect of my experience better. Does not meet any of the things you might expect from a modern, software-first VOIP system. Difficult to use. None really. They've created more problems for me than they've solved. In the old PBX phone system days, it was so easy to manage heavy call volumes in a office setting with 15+ people. But not with this VOIP system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

I like having the convenience of a VoIP system for remote work and that there is a capability of having the app on both my desktop and my mobile phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The service is very unreliable. It is not the most intuitive or user-friendly. Often, training others with its capabilities is very cumbersome and confusing. For example, transferring calls can be tricky and takes time to master.

The app often crashes and is not reliable at all. Whenever there is an update, prepare for Nextiva to have lots of issues for a period of time. Customer Service is absolutely awful and unhelpful.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

I recently switched from Vonage to Nextiva and so happy I did. Of the VOIP Providers, Nextiva has been the easiest and most seamless transition I have encountered. Their customer service has been quick and very efficient. Call Center Software, both desktop and app are easy to navigate and straightforward. Set up for the UCaaS Platforms are easy to access and intuitive. The transition and ease of integration took just a few minutes and everything was up and running without any hassle. I have had occasion to use the software, call center and app daily since transitioning and wish I had done it months ago! Being able to speak to an actual person instead of having to go thru a chat transcription has been so refreshing!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

Great technical support. Very knowledgeable. It has been very easy to get ahold of support team and they are always sharp and get right to the point. We are a medical group, and we use it every day without a hitch. We switched over from Vonage and the implementation team was great and fast. It was very easy to switch over to the new system.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

the platform has matured over the years and is super easy to manipulate, when you have trouble, support knows exactly where to go and will fix it or show you where. Implementation team was super easy to work with side by side to get started and then just make adjustments along the way.
