"A good Java IDE"
What do you like best about NetBeans?

The basic functions of this IDE are pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

More user-friendly integration with Git. For a group of student programmers working on a software project, gaining familiarity with Git will be very helpful down the road - building this familiarity from the start through a better integration of Git with NetBeans will make it easier for software teams to build and test their projects. "OK, but not the best"
What do you like best about NetBeans?

The best thing going for it is that it's free. For newer programmers, or small development shops, it will probably do the trick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

It's old school compared to other products out there. Speed could also be faster, but honestly, it's not that bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
