NetAsset by Netgain Reviews & Product Details

We had implemented another FA software in Oct 2022 and the implementation and the software were both awful. That's when we reached out to NetGain about NetAsset. NetAsset has been able to help us get back up and running with our fixed assets. The amount of reports available with Fixed Assets is great, the ease of use of the software, and the customizations NetGain was able to add for us are all huge in our opinion! We have close to 23k assets, but the NetAsset implementation team didn't blink an eye when they saw how many we have and have been great in helping us get the system set up and with showing us how to use the system. It's very easy to view future depreciation schedules either by a single asset or reprting on multiple assets. The implementation team were great (Allie and Austin) and very helpful, always responding quickly to queries and providing regular updates. The only feature which would be great for future would be a report showing depreciation posted for each month side by side as well as which posting period this was posted in (in case it differs from the NetAsset depreciation schedule). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Asset organization is really nice. I like being able to have a sysetem track all assets and provide an audit trail so that the balances are secured. I like the automated process for asset rollforwards and depreication so that it removes the human error of calculating depreciation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My biggest complaint is the time that it takes to run entries when you have a large population of assets. Under 1,000 takes like 30 minutes, but more than that takes up to hours and makes it difficult to adjust/upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NetAsset not only takes the manual depreication posting out of the mix, but also allows you to manage maintaining your assets, tracking the costs put into each asset, and the last time that it was serviced. The implementation and onboarding process with NetAsset was excellent, and their knowledge base had everything we needed to operate. Very user-friendly and easy to use. If you have any experience processing fixed assets, you could practically set it up on your own, it is that well laid out. Extremely customizable. Excellent functionality. Easy to make any asset modifications that come up. They offer additional books for Federal and State taxes. Even maintenance scheduling tracking. It creates a separate depreciation expense JE for every asset. If you have a LOT of assets, it can be cumbersome to review. There is a Summary JE option, but it doesn't work with the standard reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Netasset by Netgain is a great product and closes the gaps Netsuite FAM has on functionality. But the best part of netasset is the reporting it provides.
