I like that NetSuite tracks all of our transactions and products sold. I've learned to create scripts that allow me to get dashboards and data out of NetSuite. Using cloud features has been the most helpful because it lets me see under the hood. Once we went live and started working with ACS, the internal NetSuite consulting team, our experience improved significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a startup, if you add multiple modules that you do not end up using in the future, there's no way to remove them. If you remove them, you cannot lower the contract value. So I would start with what you actually need and then add on as you go. Don't buy into the bundle because if you don't need something in the future, you will be stuck with it forever, and the value of the contract will never go down. The initial setup was very difficult. We hired a consulting firm to do it for us, and they were terrible, which made the experience unpleasant. We paid for a whole year before we even went live. It's a very expensive product to go an entire year without using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
