What do you like best about Nanonets?

The entire setup procedure was really straightforward. We used it as part of a university project, and I was amazed at how easy it was to use. The user interface is really simple, and even someone without a technical experience might use it to complete the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nanonets?

The only issue was that you needed a machine with a lot of computing power. The processing on my old Asus notebook took a little longer than I had hoped. However, the end outcome was well worth the wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nanonets solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were attempting to collect bill data from a variety of invoices received by the institution. Some of it was handwritten, while others appeared to be fairly old. Because manual segregation was impossible, Nanonets came to the rescue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nanonets?

I like its feature to create the models very easily and also the availability of pre-available models. I used this software while doing OCR of a document and I was able to do it very accurately with the help of the model I created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nanonets?

The thing which I did not like was that there could have been a better first-time login experience as well as better Guides to help the new users, new users are not quite able to use software efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Nanonets:

Just try using it for a bit more time even if you are not able to understand it instantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nanonets?

I liked that Nanonets had an easy, intuitive but full-featured interface. Upon first uploading a PDF of tabular data, it was very accurate but gave many options for preparing and editing the results in-place. I was very impressed by the support for granularly editing column by column what was extracted. But what was more pleasing was that I did not have to make that many edits to the extracted data. It's OCR seems very well tuned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nanonets?

It's quite expensive for a single user. It would be nice to have an intermediate pricing option for infrequent usage or fewer seats. However, I can see this being a good investment at an enterprise level, where you have many users or have a lot of data to extract on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nanonets solving and how is that benefiting you?

A data owner sent my organization data that was locked in a PDF form that could not even be copy and pasted. Tools I've used in the past to extract the tables did not do a good job at all. Nanonets got it almost right on the first pass. It was very easy to use and again, it 'just worked' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nanonets?

Nanonets' user experience is excellent; I think people from all tech levels would love using it. It is easy to customize, it is perfect to use for handwritten forms (which we get a lot of at our organization), and I haven't seen software capturing handwritten text the way Nanonets does. You're able to train the AI on a customized model, and it has proven to be invaluable for time management and automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nanonets?

Handwriting is often very irregular, and I think it would be good to set parameters for specific fields so the software can process everything there. However, this may be due to a lack of training in the model in the free option.. we will find out when we start the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Nanonets:

I think Nanonets will make a massive difference in how many organizations work (especially non-profits where there is a lot of time to be gained back from using Nanonets OCR software. It's a great way to be responsible with donor money and well worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nanonets solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to automate the way we process all the handwritten forms we receive from our donors. So far, it has been one person typing in all the info into the CRM. Nanonets has already saved us a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nanonets?

It is straightforward to extract only the data I need with some simple setup and use it in a pipeline with a text-to-speech system.

I also found it very useful that Spanish is in the supported languages. Also, found the API very well documented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nanonets?

I haven't found any issues within the time I used it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nanonets solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been researching and using it as the primary tool to extract invoice data from pictures taken from the Raspberry Pi SoC. The goal is to extract valuable data and use it alongside a text-to-speech system in a project focused on blind people accessibility technology. Nanonets was the fastest way to test this pipeline and work on the prototype. It was really simple to setup and to get the project working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was using Nanonets as part of the academic curriculum where I was supposed to extract data from some bills and understand how the process works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
