I liked that Nanonets had an easy, intuitive but full-featured interface. Upon first uploading a PDF of tabular data, it was very accurate but gave many options for preparing and editing the results in-place. I was very impressed by the support for granularly editing column by column what was extracted. But what was more pleasing was that I did not have to make that many edits to the extracted data. It's quite expensive for a single user. It would be nice to have an intermediate pricing option for infrequent usage or fewer seats. Nanonets' user experience is excellent; I think people from all tech levels would love using it. It is easy to customize, it is perfect to use for handwritten forms (which we get a lot of at our organization), and I haven't seen software capturing handwritten text the way Nanonets does. Handwriting is often very irregular, and I think it would be good to set parameters for specific fields so the software can process everything there. It is straightforward to extract only the data I need with some simple setup and use it in a pipeline with a text-to-speech system.
