CloudBerry is a very stable program to make connections, the configuration is very simple and the interface very basic. This software allows me to share my screen or enter my colleagues screen and share files or manipulate documents. One feature that I like is its good encryption to maintain a secure data transfer between server and client. In addition, it has a chat to maintain communication if there is no microphone. So far I have not had negative experiences with CloudBerry, on the contrary, this tool has improved communication between colleagues in the organization where I work and has allowed us to manipulate computers and share files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its backup is great. It is practical to configure. Cloudberry backup has several backend storage options I can use Amazon, Google, Wasabi and Backblaze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have to update my device many times because Clouberry backup has performance errors that should improve its efficiency. If I remain connected to network folders I have errors that must be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy for the user to find and follow instructions when given for the remote connection. Easy to install. Flexible viewing with multi-monitor support. The Meetings feature! The name CloudBerry. (but I can handle MSP) :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the order of priority (what I'd like to see done most) -- The one-time code needed to install the product is weird and makes for a somewhat difficult download process. No remote printing. No way to configure the product while logged in with product (maybe there is and I just don't know how.) Not enough and/or no information on creating manageable configuration files to distribute to specific computers. Hoping to see support for Android and iOS in the future. For a start, it's free. Always good to see excellent free software. It's very easy and quite intuitive to use, if you've used TeamViewer before it is very similar is most respects. Love the fact that unattended access uses the computers actual password. That's a great feature. You can also do the very pointless, but non the less very cool thing of using Cloudberry from within TeamViewer. Like I said pointless, but when you ask yourself the question I wonder if... well you know stuff happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main dislike is the lack of an address book. It also hangs or stops altogether sometimes while I've been using it. But as the software is free and this doesn't happen too often I can live with it. For commercial purposes though could be very annoying and possibly embarrassing. CloudBerry Remote Assistant is easy and simple, I could get it to work in very short time. I am not sophisticated in my requirements, so I was very satisfied, I got what I needed for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is ok, easy to understand, but it has become inexplicably slow after 3 weeks of use. Graphics and color may be improved - it is rather basic (but perhaps I was not able to set it in the most appropriate way. In this case a guide should be made available) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it is free has to be the best feature!
Simple to set up, I use it exclusively set to "unattendend access" mode to manage several computers at a remote location recording weather information and security. Any MS Windows users using Teamviewer and finding they keep getting the dreaded "Commercial use suspected" message and getting locked out, will find this a very acceptable alternative. Cloudberry at this time do not make any limitations on its use and I am informed that while they may introduce a more powerful paid version, the plain vanilla one will remain free which will suit me fine!. So far, I can't fault it. There is no documentation, but if you join the Cloudberry forum, you'll find answers to any problems you might have with connectivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After getting the "Commercial Use Suspected" from Teamviewer, I started looking around for an alternative, tested 4 different alternatives. CloudBerry Remote Assistant is by far the best. Very easy to setup and use. It has all of the features that I would need to support family and friends, Invite, File Transfer, Easy to swap screens and control. While I use the full install, I like that it has a Quick Support version for the Remote user, so that they don't have to do a full install if they don't want to. Great product, Thank You CloudBerry for providing such a good product for free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real issues, maybe a bit more notes in the Help or FAQ sections Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That it has almost the same features teamviewer has, some features are lacking but overall the app is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has issues with screen rendering and control over remote machine while trying to launch apps as administrator on remote machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it actually do what it suppose to do... Very easy to setup and use. has all of the features that I would need, Invite, File Transfer, Easy to swap screens and control and of course, the fact that it is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I did not face any issues other than that there is no documentation, but if you join the Cloudberry forum, you'll find answers to any problems you might have with connectivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
