Moqups is minimal and simple in its design -- very obvious to use. The absolute best thing about it is that it's browser-based. This is very convenient and provides a significant boost of accessibility.
The premade stencils are a great asset. They are simple, clean, greyscale vector graphics that work well for communicating ideas. With these stencils coupled with the very easy image upload and simple hotspotting, you can create and link up wireframes quite quickly. It feels like you're putting stickers on a sheet of paper, which, to be honest, is kinda what you're doing when you're making a wireframe. Very low friction.
Feels very much like a focused, browser-based version of Omnigraffle with a good stencil set already built in.
Support team is easily accessible with the click of a button, which is a nice safety net if you happen to have questions. I personally never have, because the tool is so simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very limited functionality beyond wireframing. Hotspots can only take you so far. The stencils are just flat graphics -- as opposed to a tool like Axure which actually uses real HTML controls.
The subscription pricepoints are fairly steep, and the free version's functionality is severely limited (although it does serve well as a 'trial' before you purchase a subscription). Although Moqups is convenient and a nice tool, I'd say you may be better off purchasing a more robust tool such as Omnigraffle which will essentially do the same thing -- albeit slightly less conveniently (you'll have to find and import your own stencils) -- at a flat price. Compared to other design/mockup/wireframe products has a shallow learning curve and it's very easy to use. It's good for collaborative work, easy to share and easy to export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to other design/mockup/wireframe products it's less "professional" and has a lower output in terms of visual design and interaction simulation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Moqups is easy and super quick to use, especially designing small-resolution wireframes with most of what you need. Additionally, it also allows creating clusters to create a low-fidelity prototype for end users. Apart from this, one can also comfortably upload their sole elements/images between projects and create templates to go even faster. And, also the new table element is much better than the legacy table and allows more agility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A significant dissatisfaction is that its flow chart connectors are difficult to use when constructing a flow chart. Furthermore, it is primarily an online-based designing and wireframing app, and it is not available as a desktop version for use when working offline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the number of options I have when creating a mockup, and how easy to use all of them are. Also, hats off to the leadership team, they give a lot of usability on the Free plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love to have arrows that let me position elements in a granular pixel fashion. Right now, I can use mouse&drag, or tweak axys numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I must confess I love editing files on Google Docs, it lets me collaborate on the same file with multiple users. Similarly I wanted to edit my user interface wireframe mockups on the fly with multiple collaborators, but unfortunately dealing with InVision and sketch was a big pain, it gets even more complicated when it comes to real time collaboration. It is 2019 and real time collaboration is the name of the game and I found out about Moqups on G2.com a few weeks back and there has been no turning back every since. Here are my most favourite features:
No nonsense wire-framing: There are multiple tools out there that help users wireframe and prototype, but Moqups does it right and does it well. The learning curve does not exist here. Even an kid can wireframe with moqups.
Unlimited collaborators: Moqups lets me share my wireframes and prototypes with the whole world with the click of a button and the best part is all of these people can make changes to the wireframes, add comments and all of this is synced automatically.
Simulate user interactions without coding the app: Moqups lets me simulate a prototype with clickable actions without actually writing a single line of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some competing apps like In-vision have released an accompanying mobile / tablet app which lets us run the prototypes on a real phone, this is not possible with Moqups and this is a dislike, but otherwise Moqups is a brilliant piece of software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Moqups is simple but complex at the same time. It is really easy to use once you created your first page then it's quite easy to go on with other pages. Plus, I use a lot the interactions to show the complete flow to my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to dislike about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Moqups has a good set of UI components and it's pretty easy to use. Creating, organizing, and sharing wireframes is pretty easy to do. It's good that it's in the cloud, since a lot of people can collaborate at the same time, and engineers can look at it on the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You are limited to its UI library, so it's hard to create custom components. If you have a style guide or component library, Moqups won't work. The library itself is pretty good however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has made it much easier for me to make graphic proposals about the websites that I am developing. It is very easy to use and it took me a few minutes to start creating prototypes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is only available in online mode, although this is an advantage since you can work from anywhere. The price is high for most users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What can I say? Moqups is a great and valuable tool for the editing and creation of visual files such as diagrams and wireframes. It has a series of characteristics that make it stand out from its competitors. I also like that I can make different types of edition in one place, without having to constantly change software. With respect to its interface, thanks to its fast learning curve, we have the best functionality and flexibility in our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since we implemented Moqups there is no fault or problem that you could think. It is a very complete program which meets the expectations of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a UI UX lover, I love how moqups helps me wireframe a prototype UI for my project before I actually code it. It is easy to use, and it has a lot of tools for a developer, minus actually coding it. It allows you to make models quickly in a simple way. The page is easy to use and the drag and drop menus are a cinch to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only thing I dislike is that it takes a bit of time to load the page. Plus, you have to pay to make multiple UI wireframes, and I wish they changed that. Also, there is no offline mode where you can save the wireframe. I wish that that were improved, but everything else is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
