After 13 years of being in business Moego finally made it possible for online booking to be a thing. For all the mobile groomers out there, you know what it's like, you don't want a client to see everything that is open on your books because that could send you driving all over the place. Meogo has settings where you can limit the miles you will drive in between appointments, or the drive time. It requires a valid address for a client to book, and will only show spots that work within your limitations. You can also set certain areas for certain days. Beyond that, if you don't want a client to book without a confirmed payment method you can turn that setting on as well. The other, most spectacular thing about Moego, is the company listens to the community. We have used Moego for a year now, and have asked fore several "Feature Requests", many of which have already been implemented, and the rest are "in the works". Using MoeGo for my mobile grooming business has made every aspect of scheduling and client management easier. Their new client form and release form have made it easy to acquire the information I need from my clients in order to go house to house. Scheduling is made easier with my pricing options stored in one place and my clients previous groom histories being saved. Automated messages have helped rebooking rates go up as well as make it easy for my clients to remember their appointments with confirmation and reminder texts. Their app offers a variety of features for both the client and the groomer utilizing the software, such as the parent portal, grooming reports for the pet parent, reports for the groomer about their sales and clientele booked anywhere from one day to one year out, simplified route integration when booking clients in similar areas, and so much more. Their 24/7 support staff have been great with helping about questions and issues I had when learning about all the things their app offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their pricing plans offer different features. I use the mid tier plan so the sms included with my plan is limited which makes talking with new clients who may or may not schedule an appointment more difficult. Whats not to love? As a small business this provides invaluable help keeping track of my appointments and charges as well as having the map feature and being able to set certain areas for certain days, the easy way to rebook customers after completing their appointment and being able to set them up on a schedule is great, I have my customers colour coded as I work in a salon and in home so this works for me. Now being able to send grooming reports after a groom (when I remember to do it) is also a cool feature, it sends out reminders as well so my customers dont miss an appointment.
Customer support has been for me quick and easy and even if you think it may be a stupid question, they dont treat you like it is they are really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features only work on the desktop and vice versa so sometimes that can be a bit frustrating but nothing major.

Moego really listens & wants to understand about new features you are requesting; they do not leave you hanging without resolution & always try to find work arounds when your needs are not able to be met just yet. I wish the App and the desktop version would mirror each other. The selections are not in the same order. At my salon, we use the desktop version & on occasion when I have gone into the app to modify a recurring appointment, i have accidentally selected "apply to all" (which is at the top) when i did not mean to. On the desktop version, the selection at the top is "only this appointment" .
In addition to the "apply to all" selection for recurring appointments-- the user should be able to select exactly what they would like to "apply all" to. For example, If we are making an addition to a ticket in a repeat series per owner request by adding in a new add on service like nail filing; adding a new pet to the ticket; changing the main service to alternate between haircuts bath & tidy; or changing to a different sylist; etc.. we should be able to select what we would like changed. At present, the software will change all appointments in the repeat series to the selection you are making on the ticket. Example: all main services will be the 1 service you are changing to & all appointments in the repeat series will move to the stylist that is on the ticket you are modifying when you select "apply to all". This leaves us having to go through the entire year of appointments to make sure the change in stylist does not overbook the different stylist it was moved to & individually modify appointments with main services that a client decides to have alternating bath & tidy and haircuts. - Moego offers an impressive array of marketing features, elevating it from a mere booking tool to a comprehensive business solution. I love the email and text marketing flexibility.
- Very reliable. I don't think the system has EVER been down, which was a main reason I left other booking system operators.
- Versatile - with other softwares I've had to find ways to work around our structure as it just never quite worked i.e. 2 people booked on the same dog, both starting at the same time, overlaps etc. Moego is complex enough to handle any variety of rotas and ways of working. It is easy to use as well - the team have no problems navigating the settings.
- It is easy for clients to book online. The card details options are a fantastic addition to stop loss of revenue. Abandon Cart contact details are a great tool as well. The new app should be a fantastic addition as well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It is more expensive than most. We have the Growth plan which is $149 per month. Sometimes we need to purchase extra SMS as well. Totally worth the money though if you will use the marketing features.
- The App although still in testing phase will be under Moego's name rather than our company, so customers will find it hard to remember what the app is for or what it is called. I don't think they can fix this though as they can't have a separate app for every company. Similarly the website has "powered by moego" on it and this frustrates me as we come across as amateur. Tiny thing really though that I can get over.
- The website is restrictive. You have to have it laid out in a certain way. It means I have to pay Shopify for a main website as well so I have more freedom around how it looks and feels. I think this is standard for most grooming softwares however and is still the best one I've found for options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I really like about MoeGo is its simplicity and easiness to use. Very straightforward in all its functions. Capturing all information in one place has helped us get organized and track clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though MoeGo has its reporting feature, the least helpful is the inability to view Stripe business performance. It'd be nice to have this connected to each company that uses Stripe for their own analysis and data tracking. Also, the packaging option is great but extremely difficult to use and customize -- especially for different client's need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

keeps dogs vaccination records and notifies when expired

It makes scheduling, marketing & payment collection a breeze! The report also help me gain a better understanding of my financials & changes from month to month! Anytime I have needed help, customer support has been very quick to respond & resolve any issues with me. It works seamlessly with Facebook, Instagram & Google! It's so convient, and the support really listens, I feel like when I offer feedback that changes happen. Clients love it and so do I. I couldn't see myself using any other product. I think the limited amount of texts sent to clients is unfortunate, having to buy more and more can add up quickly and it also forces me to not be able to engage as much with clients becaues every message is deducted from the total amount.
