  ### 1. Decent but lacking some functionality for multi-store

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

Pros-
-Scheduling client appointments is easy/intuitive
-Automations for text & email communication is excellent
-Can create multi-factorial parameters for scheduling services - e.g. you can limit service selection during scheduling based factors such as breed, size, & hair type
-Managing waivers, agreements, and vaccine info is a breeze. 
-Setting work schedules for our groomers is very quick and easy
-Easy to monitor client booking & re-booking - far superior in tis regard to our previous system.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Cons-
-Editing staff roles, permissions, and qualified services is cumbersome and time consuming. You cannot assign qualified services to staff based on role, only on a service by service bases. E.g. if a Bather can only take  bathing services then you must manually assign each bathing service to that individual rather than assigning the service to a rol and then the ole to the person. This slows down onboarding at a multi-door operation like ours.

-Editing services is also cumbersome / time consuming. Any changes must be made one-at-a-time. We would prefer an export/import and/or bulk editing feature. This would be especially useful for editing prices and durations

-On the day and week view the maximum granularity for appointments is in 15-minute increments. You can set services in smaller increments, but on the calendar they *appear* as 15-min increments. This saps productivity because it encourages staff to be less precise when booking small-time-increment services such as nail trims - it's easy to accidentally eat up an entire hour on a groomer's schedule with just four 5-minute nail trims.

-Sorting of service lists and staff lists must be done manually. With a large staff this becomes tedious. We would prefer to be able to automatically alphanumerically sort based on attributes such as name, location, or ID#'s.

-Onboarding process could use improvement. We would have preferred an initial date import, followed by setup and training, followed by a final "go-live" import. Their process was a single import which forced us to rush the go live in order to minimize incongruencies between the new system. It was  chaotic, but not unmanageable.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched to MoeGo from Envision grooming software because we like the multi-factorial service selection process and how it makes online booking easier to administer. MoeGo also has more industry-centric features, which is valuable for us as a small chain of 4-stores. Envision fundamentally offers a more granular system, but to get some of the ease-of-use things you need to utilize their API and integrate it with another software. Due o our size it made more sens to go with one that alrady had a lot of the features we wanted even though it meant sactificing some of the customizability. I'd compare it to Mac vs Windows.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

After 13 years of being in business Moego finally made it possible for online booking to be a thing. For all the mobile groomers out there, you know what it's like, you don't want a client to see everything that is open on your books because that could send you driving all over the place. Meogo has settings where you can limit the miles you will drive in between appointments, or the drive time. It requires a valid address for a client to book, and will only show spots that work within your limitations. You can also set certain areas for certain days. Beyond that, if you don't want a client to book without a confirmed payment method you can turn that setting on as well. The other, most spectacular thing about Moego, is the company listens to the community. We have used Moego for a year now, and have asked fore several "Feature Requests", many of which have already been implemented, and the rest are "in the works".

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Moego still needs work in the reports area but I believe they will have that all squared away soon.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are our scheduling software. Moego helps us keep client records, book appointments, allow for clients to book online, provides a simple online booking website, and makes all the information immediately available to the stylist with whom the appointments are. It keeps paperwork, pictures, and client communications all in one place as well so we are not having to use different forums for each business need. It keeps our business organized and all in one place.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

Using MoeGo for my mobile grooming business has made every aspect of scheduling and client management easier. Their new client form and release form have made it easy to acquire the information I need from my clients in order to go house to house. Scheduling is made easier with my pricing options stored in one place and my clients previous groom histories being saved. Automated messages have helped rebooking rates go up as well as make it easy for my clients to remember their appointments with confirmation and reminder texts. Their app offers a variety of features for both the client and the groomer utilizing the software, such as the parent portal, grooming reports for the pet parent, reports for the groomer about their sales and clientele booked anywhere from one day to one year out, simplified route integration when booking clients in similar areas, and so much more. Their 24/7 support staff have been great with helping about questions and issues I had when learning about all the things their app offers.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Their pricing plans offer different features. I use the mid tier plan so the sms included with my plan is limited which makes talking with new clients who may or may not schedule an appointment more difficult. I've downloaded a separate text and calling app because MoeGo's supplied line does not offer phone calls, texting only.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the major business problems MoeGo helps with is identifying active and inactive clients. With their cohesive client list, I am able to identify the returning customers and separate them from the customers who haven't returned for service in a year. With that feature I'm able to track how many active clients I have and how many more active clients I am able to take on for my business which is extremely helpful. 
Automated messages have also helped me save time texting clients and reminding them to rebook their next grooming appointment in order to put time towards other parts of my business.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

Whats not to love? As a small business this provides invaluable help keeping track of my appointments and charges as well as  having the map feature and being able to set certain areas for certain days, the easy way to rebook customers after completing their appointment and being able to set them up on a schedule is great, I have my customers colour coded as I work in a salon and in home so this works for me.  Now being able to send grooming reports after a groom (when I remember to do it) is also a cool feature, it sends out reminders as well so my customers dont miss an appointment.
Customer support has been for me quick and easy and even if you think it may be a stupid question, they dont treat you like it is they are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Some features only work on the desktop and vice versa so sometimes that can be a bit frustrating but nothing major.
Having to pay a whole lot more to get the review feature when I dont need the rest of the items included in the larger upgrade.

**Recommendations to others considering MoeGo:**

I think this is a great tool for any groomer - mobile or salon different levels to suit your needs, contact your customers easily keep them up to date with appointments, I trialled a couple of other software applications before settling on MoeGo and I am so pleased I did.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It sends out reminders to all my customers so helping me to eliminate no shows, I can see at a glance how much I am earning and can break it down by dog or day which for me is helpful.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

Moego really listens & wants to understand about new features you are requesting; they do not leave you hanging without resolution & always try to find work arounds when your needs are not able to be met just yet. I also love their "follow the sun" support. The software is pretty user friendly & easy to migrate from another software program.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

I wish the App and the desktop version would mirror each other. The selections are not in the same order. At my salon, we use the desktop version & on occasion when I have gone into the app to modify a recurring appointment, i have accidentally selected "apply to all" (which is at the top) when i did not mean to. On the desktop version, the selection at the top is "only this appointment" . 

In addition to the "apply to all" selection for recurring appointments-- the user should be able to select exactly what they would like to "apply all" to. For example, If we are making an addition to a ticket in a repeat series per owner request by adding in a new add on service like nail filing; adding a new pet to the ticket; changing the main service to alternate between haircuts bath & tidy; or changing to a different sylist; etc.. we should be able to select what we would like changed. At present, the software will change all appointments in the repeat series to the selection you are making on the ticket. Example: all  main services will be the 1 service you are changing to & all appointments in the repeat series will move to the stylist that is on the ticket you are modifying when you select "apply to all". This leaves us having to go through the entire year of appointments to make sure the change in stylist does not overbook the different stylist it was moved to & individually modify appointments with main services that a client decides to have alternating bath & tidy and haircuts.

I love being able to select when I can send auto messages & the pet intake form!!!

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

- Instant chat support—a genuine human connection that’s always ready to assist, making it incredibly easy to receive help when needed.

- Moego offers an impressive array of marketing features, elevating it from a mere booking tool to a comprehensive business solution. I love the email and text marketing flexibility. 

- Very reliable. I don't think the system has EVER been down, which was a main reason I left other booking system operators. 

- Versatile - with other softwares I've had to find ways to work around our structure as it just never quite worked i.e. 2 people booked on the same dog, both starting at the same time, overlaps etc. Moego is complex enough to handle any variety of rotas and ways of working. It is easy to use as well - the team have no problems navigating the settings. 

- It is easy for clients to book online. The card details options are a fantastic addition to stop loss of revenue. Abandon Cart contact details are a great tool as well. The new app should be a fantastic addition as well!

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

- It is more expensive than most. We have the Growth plan which is $149 per month. Sometimes we need to purchase extra SMS as well. Totally worth the money though if you will use the marketing features.

- The App although still in testing phase will be under Moego's name rather than our company, so customers will find it hard to remember what the app is for or what it is called. I don't think they can fix this though as they can't have a separate app for every company. Similarly the website has "powered by moego" on it and this frustrates me as we come across as amateur. Tiny thing really though that I can get over. 

- The website is restrictive. You have to have it laid out in a certain way. It means I have to pay Shopify for a main website as well so I have more freedom around how it looks and feels. I think this is standard for most grooming softwares however and is still the best one I've found for options.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our complex rota arrangements are handled well by Moego's array of features and flexible options within the calendar. This is our main concern. No other software has been able to meet our needs quite like Moego. 

Marketing - great to have the variety of tools they offer to push sales. We are a large salon so there is a constant drive for marketing.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

What I really like about MoeGo is its simplicity and easiness to use. Very straightforward in all its functions. Capturing all information in one place has helped us get organized and track clients.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Even though MoeGo has its reporting feature, the least helpful is the inability to view Stripe business performance. It'd be nice to have this connected to each company that uses Stripe for their own analysis and data tracking. Also, the packaging option is great but extremely difficult to use and customize -- especially for different client's need.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before MoeGo, capturing necessary information for pets, in general, took a lot of time and energy. With MoeGo, the upload features on paperwork are great. All the features necessary to grooming is available without us manually trying to modify or add them to a software.

keeps dogs vaccination records and notifies when expired
Employee's can see what dogs they have under them, what breed and instructions of what groom to do
Retail list and easy to add to invoice
I can go on and on with all the great things I love!!
I love how they listen to us and keep updating the systems

I love everything!! If I had to list something, it's the price but that what it cost to keep a business and keep updating it.

It makes scheduling, marketing & payment collection a breeze! The report also help me gain a better understanding of my financials & changes from month to month! **What do you like best about MoeGo?**

It's so convient, and the support really listens, I feel like when I offer feedback that changes happen. Clients love it and so do I. I couldn't see myself using any other product. I really have no complaints. If I have an issue with anything at all I feel like I could just send support a message.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

I think the limited amount of texts sent to clients is unfortunate, having to buy more and more can add up quickly and it also forces me to not be able to engage as much with clients becaues every message is deducted from the total amount. I also wish there was a client bonus accumulation, so if a client comes they could get some points towards something.

Everything under the sun, from organization, to features, to the ease of use for my clients. I cannot praise them enough.

Round the clock support. I can send a text inquiry at anytime, and I also get a quick response.

The only downside (for me) is they do not offer boarding options (yet). My business is heavy on boarding and that option would greatly help us.

Incredible UI, features and support. Very few things need further development. They have all of the basics covered

Not being able to assign multiple service areas to one groomer/van is a nuissance. There is also no KPI dashboard available for appointments made today, last week vs prior week, etc.

Online Booking for customers. This helps the business alot. Support is always helping as much as they can.

The constant updating and the glitches. It makes it difficult to keep up. Support helps as much as they can but lately it seems that everything is going to there tech department to be solved but the problems are still there.

Using MoeGo for my in-home grooming services is so helpful! The 2way messages and reminders help me communicate with my clients without closing my personal phone number. The calendar and booking is super user friendly and easy. The client portal is helpful for clients to see their recurring schedule and past appointments. Taking payments is a breeze! Great software!!

I wish it didn't cost so much and processing fees for taking payments is costly too. However they are at market rates and for all the features and support you get what you pay for.

I love the ability to look at my day, week or month and see how booked I am.  It helps me to know if I am overbooking myself very quickly.  I only ever tried Kennel Connection, but they got very greedy, so I quit them.

The only thing I can think of is when I'm trying to edit an appointment to another date I have to open it in another tab to see where I can put it.  At least I don't see another way to do that.  For example, when I click edit, it only shows me the date and time I can change it to, but I can't see if the date and time I want to choose has been taken already.

I've asked about a boarding segment and they told me they are working on one!  I've figured out how to do one in the meantime, but I can't wait to see what they come up with!  I simply block in yellow the dates a dog will board with me and write their name and dates they will board in the block out, then I check them in and out on the day they leave.  I added boarding segments to my services and it's working pretty good!

The customer service is exceptionally responsive and friendly, and they take feature requests on board and actually implement changes (rather than just talking about them)

I use SMS messaging a LOT, so adding SMS packages to my monthly fee can get expensive... Also, MMS messaging recieved re-directs us to a Telstra portal to view the image and this is very frustrating. 
Partial integration with Square, meaning you can process transactions using square, but the inventory section of MoeGo does not integrate into my square site (I am hoping this will happen in the future).
The MoeGo URL can't be masked using my own URL, which impacts customer experience to a small degree

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MoeGo allows my customers to book in online at their own convenience. It sends and tracks reminders, it sends birthday notifications, and it keeps a record of all SMS that I send to my clients. 
Fundamentally, it is a CRM which allows me to manage my client data. It also allows me to vault credit card's for customers to ensure we can process late cancellation fees if required. I would be lost without MoeGo

We love the personalization of MoeGo, from the employees to the clients. It's easy for people to use & get use to. We don't answer calls as much & saves so much time.

I would suggest the online booking be a little more specific, if clients could choose their groomer & find appointments for that specific person. Also, if we could limit people to booking with specific people, like in weight or not taking new clients for each groomer.

If they had an unlimited SMS plan, that would be wonderful as well. I find I'm spending an extra $100 on SMS a month which is quiet expensive. If they could just have an unlimited plan & charge me $150 instead of $93, that would be better for us personally.

I haven't had any problems with MoeGo recently or really much before the MoeGo 2.0, the process of intergration was pretty easy & everything worked out. I love how they have 24/7 service & are able to assist at any point.

Smart scheduling so I know distance and can make smart decisions on scheduling to save money on gas and fit more dogs/ cats each day.    
Competitors that I've tried are only on websites and no app.  Also they don't have saved groom times or prices for each pet.  Navigroom is one that I tried

I do not dislike anything but I have a couple things I'd like to see improvement; 1) save grooming notes and pics so I can see them without internet (some houses I groom at don't have good cell reception)
2) maybe have an app for clients that they can see upcoming appointments and get notifications from the app however they desire, and if clients text the number that MoeGo sends reminders from my app   Like if they say anything other than (Y, yes) it will automatically send them (this is only for confirming appointments, if you need to get a hold of your groomer please text "000-000-0000".  Even tho that's already part of my text script that I send clients but ppl don't listen
3) I wish smart scheduling looked the same or at least closer to what the iPad and phone looks on my Computer.  The desktop is really nice but the smart scheduling is not as easy as the app

I've tried several softwares for my small salon and honestly MoeGo was the winner. It was easy to learn for me and staff, has pet and owner profiles, and allows online booking as well as can send appointment reminder texts to clients! One of the best features is their easy to use app so that all my groomers have it on their phone.

There are some things MoeGo could work on, but they are always updating and listening to feedback.
For time tracking I'd like for it to show when someone forgets to clock out, have the hours work shown in payroll, have employee scheduled easily shown and changed for week to week differences, and retail could be a bit easier for non service products.

Moego has helped us route our groomers on a much tighter route saving us time and fuel.  It has given us an easy way to communicate with our groomers and our clients.   I love that we can also turn on a do not disturb feature that lets our clients know we are closed and will get back with them during normal business hours giving us the ability to have a normal life!  Highly recommend this software!

I don't like that clients call the assigned number that Moego gives us and gets no response.   We've had clients think we went out of business.  I would like more detailed reports.   The information is all there but we need to be able to access it in more informative ways along with being able to edit payments once they are applied.

I can record my sales, communicate with clients, track my mobile services easily enough and of course, handle my bookings, reschedules and wait lists too.... They've thought of a lot and I have seen first hand their continued efforts in improving the user experience.

I like the ease of use for getting clients to sign the terms and conditions too. That's useful and I make it appear nothing more than a simple formality (I actually say the software requires it and I'm not sure if/how to turn that off)

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Small: request deposit is a GREAT feature but I use it as a way for clients to pay my call out fee in advance (technically not a deposit).

I always adjust the SMS text by adding the word Please, changing the capitalization of the P in Pay and then replace 'deposit' with call out... In Auto message controls it would be handy to replace the text before the unique payment link is shown.


This could be my fault, but I am not sure how I can EASILY determine what days suit me most to visit a particular area.... My local knowledge of suburbs isn't great so I'm often spending a bit of time trying to determine what day/time I should schedule a client visit when I'm already in the area.... Note to self: check 'Smart Scheduling''... Perhaps that's what it does?

The infrastructure, when set up properly, has definitely helped me lower the frequency of rescheduling by clients. That's huge.

I can also scan tomorrow's appointment and very easily confirmed all clients have confirmed.

I love how the product does everything I need it to do for a mobile dog grooming business. It tracks clients, transactions, employees, and more. They are continually improving the product based on customer feedback. Their mobile app is full-featured, and all my groomers need. As a business owner, I use the mobile app, but I use the desktop app when I do payroll.  If I have a problem or can't find how to do what I need, their support is always helpful and responsive.

There is not much to dislike. Sometimes I have upgrade ideas for what I wish it could do. Several times these ideas have become new features. They have customers vote on what enhancements they would like to see next, so I always vote.

The Grooming Pawlor uses MoeGo to handle all my customer appointments, send reminders, track invoices and collect money (via square). This is huge and I couldn't imagine doing business without it. Recently I started using it for payroll reports and it has made processing payroll much easier.

I wish there was a way to set up your schedule so that when you overlap appointments it doesn't say that there is a conflict. I understand MoeGo was originally for mobile grooming, but I use it for my one-on-one salon but have a bather so appointments overlap. **What do you like best about MoeGo?**

The quick response to concerns or issues is so awesome. They make every effort to assist you in making their software work for you!

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

I would like to be able to reduce the number of steps it takes to get some things done and more options to improve the messaging system. It would be helpful if we could create specific messaging and reminders for specific clients.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MoeGo has improved our efficiency in so many areas. From improving our communications with customers to reducing the number of no-shows and late arrivals. The tools and improvements they have added over the years have been extremely helpful.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

The appointment confirmations and the ability to text customers easily. Keeps track of each individual clients and allows the ability to put notes or flag a file for importance

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

That any report you want to print has to be in an Excel format, and does not have the ability to just print out a report without other software being involved.

**Recommendations to others considering MoeGo:**

One of the only software that does everything for the pet grooming industry

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yes. MoeGo keeps everything extremely organized for me up to exactly what is done for each client. Very detail oriented. Also as a time clock system in a graded for ease

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

Easy to use product for the pet grooming community with great Support when you need it. Plus they listen to their Customers and continously make software enhancements accordingly.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

Some Reports could be better, but they are improving the product all the time so hopefully this will come.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing my appointments, my customers details and finances in one place. Plus ability to send customers scheduled appointment reminders.  All helps save me admin time.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

The customer service is amazing. They're so helpful with even the smallest things. Integrating with stripe has made payments so much easier and the map feature is great.

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

There are a few ways I think the menu could be cleaned up and made more user friendly. The order and wording of some things. Little adjustments here and there make such a big difference.

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that they have their own payment processing in the works. Being able to do everything strictly and singularly through moego makes me feel at ease so I can think a little less and let them work for me.

**What do you like best about MoeGo?**

MoeGo online booking and smart scheduling have saved me and my business from having to invest hours into book work Now I can do what I love best - groom

**What do you dislike about MoeGo?**

I'd like to be able to schedule the days for online booking before offering prices for service for those days, my business schedule is full now. I would be willing to work overtime but for a higher rate

**What problems is MoeGo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team has helped me from the beginning and I was one of the first users they have helped me understand and worked with me to grow and saved me hours of time
