MS Sway is definitely a successor to the MS Powerpoint as the feature hosts modernity. The animation/ scroll effects and the scaling up the layout feels like browsing a webpage, than working into any presentation slide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having more better options than PowerPoint, but still, this app is not put to proper use. Is it because we are highly dependant on ppt, or MS did not market Sway better. May be I am wrong but I am updating what I feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful tool of sway is collaborative sharing and task managemen.t , you can easily connect and assign the new tasks for your colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is not as good for interaction, and it's a bit difficult for us when we sharing/download. Interface can be more easy and simplified Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We currently use Sway to distribute educational presentations to our staff. It is great for being able to distribute a link and have staff view at their convenience, as well as review as needed. The ability to add in links and videos is great. In some ways this feels like a new version of the software Prezi. I also like that you can see how many people have viewed the Sway, as well as how long they spend viewing the Sway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The design of Sway is not particularly intuitive, especially for colleagues less comfortable getting to know new software. When using it the first few times, it was not obvious how to utilize the application. However it does have benefits once you have a better understanding of the application and how to use the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The creativity of the program and all the tools you can use to create a visually appealing messages so team members are encouraged in reading the weekly briefings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That it is sent out in a text format to other team members instead of a more official format. It would be more helpful if there was a specific app because even though all the employees phone numbers were added to it, not all of them received the Sway. Plus text messages gets buried in notifications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Drag and drop features are easy to use. For quick turn presentations, they are seamless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud based only. Its not a bad thing, but when you are in and out of service areas on the go it may be difficult. Sometimes it glitches and acts as if the presentation is not there or you don't have access even when you created it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sway makes it easy to create an online newsletter. The templates look great, and the software is very user-friendly. Having access to all newsletters in one place is convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I copy the link for a newsletter and give it out, the end-user needs to play the newsletter; it would be more functional to have the link automatically play the newsletter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use and to interact and share ideas with one another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that comes to mind is how the template isn't very flexible. Can't resize pictures Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's fairly easy to use and looks awesome once done. I like that it can play automatically or be controlled by the user. I like the fact that it can display up and down or side to side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very limited in terms of what can be done, the layout, colors, themes, fonts. etc. I wish Sway were more flexible in terms of creative and design options. Also, it would be cool if it had some features to do charts and graphs. More emedding support woudl also be awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's layout options that how content will be presented (not only slide show).
It's way to tell story by combining images and texts are good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't notice any dislike yet for MS sway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
