Power-point is a great tool for presentations and graphing. I have created huge amounts of training tools with this program and it has proved to be a great system. The templates are my friend, I utilize them on a regular basis to create complicated charts, graphs, etc. they make life much simpler and you get the job done. I have created hundreds of powerpoints over the years and the system just keeps improving. The design layouts are getting better as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adding sound is complicated to implement, video can be a bit tough as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the most significant advantages of PowerPoint is its ease of use. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you can quickly learn how to create a basic presentation. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making adding text, images, and multimedia elements to your slides easy. It comes with a wide range of templates and themes that you can be used to create professional slideshows. Another advantage is the endless possibilities - you can add animations, transitions, and multimedia elements like videos and audio files to make your presentation more engaging and interactive. There is nothing much to dislike, but I think the customization options are limited - though it offers a wide range of templates and themes and integrates well with another office suite of products, it is less interactive, and integrations with non-MS products appear to be limited Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using PowerPoint for decades.PowerPoint is the best tool for business presentations, storyboarding for course development, one-page flyers and/or job aids. Easy to use with lots of features. PowerPoint is easy to use from novice to expert. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about PowerPoint is not related to the product itself. I disllike when people overuse or use too many actions and animations. Less is more when it comes to PowerPoint and some users try to use all the features. By doing they take away from the presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's an accepted presentation platform for most business users today. Most people have been through at least one PowerPoint presentation so there's really no barriers when making a presentation to an audience beyond possible network connection problems if doing remotely. Sometimes what is communicated in slides is not enough to get the point across to attendees. Also when reviewing PowerPoint presentations, people may focus more on the style of the presentation than the substance and content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

something that I did not like very much, are the templates for the slide designs, there are many designs but when moving text or images, automatically all the designs are removed and it appears that there is none. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For professional presentations, Microsoft PowerPoint is consider to be an most spectacular application. It has lot of templates and designs which make easy for a user to create a presentation. It's interface is so user friendly such that a non-technical person can also use it easily and quickly. Lots of animations can be added and multimedia like audio and videos can be added to make presentation more interactive and understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Comparatively with other presentation applications there is nothing to dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint. It offers wide range of features than other presentation creation tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MS PowerPoint also makes it easy to create vibrant multimedia presentations. Its intuitive interface allows users to add audio/video files and other visuals to professional-looking slides, which can then be shared using screen-sharing applications such as Skype or Zoom. Plus, with pre-loaded backgrounds available on each template, anyone can customize their slide decks with minimal effort - creating stunning results in just a few clicks! I dislike that when presenting in Microsoft PowerPoint, many presenters end up relying on reading rather than improvising or using visuals to convey content. The video transitions also tend to look similar and more like animations instead of making meaningful connections between ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
