What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?

Integration with the full Microsoft suite of products. Level of customization and integration into 3rd party applications. The variety of different line of business modules is allowing it to be utilized by far more people/departments than ever before. The LinkedIn integration has made gathering Sales Analytics substantially easier and has accelerated my ability to find referrals and introductions for new business. The Outlook integration is also simple and easy to use and allows for all communication tracking within the Sales module with a click of a button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?

The UI could definitely use some improvement, having used HubSpot previously, they had a great UI/UX. With the new Dynamics Business Edition, it appears they are addressing this and will ultimately do the same in the Enterprise Edition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:

We are a Dynamics partner who also uses the product religiously and is a perfect use case for leveraging its full capabilities. Having worked with Salesforce and HubSpot I can say Dynamics has been huge strides forward to not only compete with both products: Salesforce in the breadth of its offering / HubSpot in the ease of use and UI/UX benefits. I highly recommend Dynamics 365 for any of the following areas of focus: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance & Operations, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Retail, and Talent. What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

The companies ability to track Lead / Contact / Company / Opportunity and create an efficient business process to move a prospect through the funnel. The company insight function within the Company record has been incredibly helpful in gathering data we didn't have before and merging it into the record. It's making it less necessary to leave the solution in order to track down other disparate data. With some of the new D365 functionality recently released, we are going to be able to generate quotes and invoices through the system using one business process from inception to completion. What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?

For full disclosure, I have been a Dynamics consultant for more than a decade. I love it that much! I used to tell customers the only thing I couldn't do is have it make coffee for you in the morning. Now, even that is possible. Dynamics is a damn seachange in the way your business can operate to reach its full potential and beyond regardless of your present size. When you bring together the customization, automation and integration capabilities native to Dynamics there truly are no limits. With all the different CRM products that I have implemented over the years, it is very rare that someone leaves Dynamics for the other guy. Infact, its almost always the other way around. What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?

Dynamics can have a bit of a learning curve due to the extensive tool sets that are available. However, the user experience can be 100% controlled by the implementer. Additionally, some tools can be complex initially but there is always a very good reason why a tool has been designed to operate the way it does. Additionally, the price point can make it difficult, and a deciding factor, limiting companies in the ability to fully extend the raw power and capabilities of the system deep inside their organizational structures. The price should be half in my opinion and the reunion of the different functions back into a single unified offering once again. The seperation of service from sales from marketing can be problematic for companies to stomach when they are simply just strongly focused entities that could be created with the native XRM customization tools. What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have implemented many more than 100+ deployments to companies ranging from under a million in revenue to multiple billion in revenue and with tens of thousands of employees operating on several continents. The single biggest benefit to a company is the unification of business systems and processes across the spectrum. The ability to collaborate and respond (in real time) with a systems-process approach to conditions that just could not be predicted makes Dynamics an order of magnitude above the rest. The UI/UX is hard to learn and navigate. It's like they try to make you think it has a simple UI. At first glance it's simple design seams like it will be easy to navigate but really they just hide buttons within other buttons making it even harder to navigate.
