Your data is secure and always available if any issues occur, Mews will revert to its backup storage and be up and running within minutes.
Nevertheless, Mews are dedicated to customer support and keen on building an informed community.
Engagement with them is different as they operate like any other Tech company and are always listening to the needs of their partners.

Mews was initially launched as a solution for Hostels and smaller brands or hotels.
It is now in its development for bigger chains and is going through exponential development.
It will take some time before the system is fully ready to perform for bigger chains, mainly around complex payment options for guests and partners with credit.

The most useful feature in my opinion is exporting data that is needed in excel format.
This feature was especially useful during COVID-19-related lockdowns when I and my team had to contact all our upcoming visitors across various locations and inform them about their options (cancellation, credit offers, refunds, reimbursements, etc.) within very tight time constraints. This posed a serious issue as gathering all the necessary information manually would have taken an unacceptable amount of time. This was evidently extremely important for our staff and management, as customer care is of utmost importance at wombat's City Hostels.
Another wonderful core feature, that was beyond necessary for my team (Reservations Agents) was the ability to manage multiple MEWS profiles for different accommodation locations (in our case it was 5-6 properties: Vienna, Budapest, London, Munich and Venice). In my experience, there were a few mishaps, such as MEWS not loading a given property profile, mix-up of the room order, timeline descending into chaos, due to some coding issue, and so on. However, I am no stranger to such situations and it was certainly met with understanding on our part, each time.
The main issue at each separate instance was the lack of communication on part of the MEWS support staff. It took way too long to get a hold of anyone and even then the support we received was sub-par at best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, Great interface, Links to all Booking channels, and have the ability to take payments. The university is a great trainig tool and the fact all staff have to complete is great. they are very responsive on messageing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They require government documents to set up taxes in different countries, We have a bit of a delay setting up Cambodia as the tax is not very clear. But eventually they accepted the documents we could find Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
