- Felt very limited with the free account, but eventually once I enabled paid version on my corporate account then was able to unlleash the full benefits.
- While the MS Teams integration feature is great, but people mentioned they cannot see the barcore or the menti code on the screen, hence had to put the code manually in the chat everytime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allowed a way to include equally both in person and online participants in training, and kept participants more engaged and awake than usual! I had many team members comment on how much they liked this too. I love the report out at the end, so I have record of the team's feedback and answers. This can be a great tool for internal research! With the free version, it's a little awkward to toggle between power point and menti (we did not build our entire presentation in Menti). As with anything, there is a bit of a learning curve. I wanted to compare our results in a power point presentation side by side to state wide and nationwide results, but was unable to do so (I think this is possible wiht a paid subscription) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel that the best thing about Mentimeter is that it encourages all students to participate without fear of failure in front of their peers. When designing the interactivity, the online help is extremely useful and almost immediate. This gives me great confidence that I will be able to make the technology work. The only downside that I can think of is that I always create my slides in PowerPoint and then import them. The reason for this is that there is not enough flexibility in size and positioning of typing. Also it is hard to manipulate photos within a screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like using Mentimeter because of its simplicity and ease of use. The ability to choose the slide type (multichoice, poll, open ended, and so on) for each type of question or for your own use. The live interactivity is great and my colleagues love it. I usually use Mentimeter presentations when I do live webinars to over 100 people, it is a great way to engage them all at once with a simple qr code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. For the use I make of it, it works perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working with teenagers can sometimes be lonely, especially in group settings as they are less likey to answer questions or engage in debates verbally due to peer embarressment. This can sometimes leave a presenation/ meeting with the speaker in a wall of silence. However, with Menimeter you can ask questions and few responses live on screen. This allows interaction to occur in a virtual sense which then seems to build the confidence needed to see live on screen that their opinions do count and they do have peers with similar feelings. Before you kn ow it everyone is talking and adding to the discussions. A great aid allowing us adults to form a conncetion with teenagers in their preferred setting, vitually. Various question types and data visualisation of the results available on the platform allowing for on the spot data presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the free version where anyone can drop in to the session, participants are not asked to enter their names, so all their responses are anonymous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I work with a group of about 700, and it can be hard to make things interactive with that many college students in a lecture hall. Mentimeter allows me to create something that still keepts them engaged with the material, but also helps to feel like they're connecting with their peers. We have used this 4 times in the last few weeks and it has been great! I would also say its easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I will always wish things like this are free. Especially in the educator sector, finding the funding for our programs can be very difficult, and we had to pay for this due to the size of our group.
Aside from cost, I would love a QR code students could scan to log in rather than trying to get a code- with our lecture hall being so large, it can be hard trying to squint and see the number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that mentimeter is easy to set up and begin use even if you don't have prior experience with the program. You are able to add polls, questions, and many other features within your slide presentation. This ability is helpful in the education sector to increase student engagement. If you have a paid version of the program then you can import Google Slides or PowerPoint into your presentation. The free version allows you to have 50 people utilize your presentation per month whereas as you pay for versions of the site you have unlimited users within your presentation which would allow you to utilize Mentimeter more frequently within a given month. I wish that mentimeter had more themes / backgrounds to choose from and that it had a few more options when inserting photos into the slides in terms of the formatting of the side with text and picture. However for the free version of the product that I am currently using it is very intuitive and easy to integrate into lessons and presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interactive nature of Mentimeter and the wide array of question types make pulling together presentations to collect feedback from client and stakeholder groups fun and easy. Our clients enjoy engaging with the process of design through Mentimeter and seeing their feedback spring up live. Also, documenting design decisions made is a BIG part of the architectural process - so being able to export client feedback collected during presentations to send back to client groups has also been valuable. We have not experienced downsides aside from user errors and some confusion when giving presentations for those who are new to the Mentimeter platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mentimeter is a platform that literally has it all. Using mentimeter allows for my teaching to be diverse and engaging. Students are brought to a new level of technoogical learning that enables them to share their ideas in ways never thought before and, of course, in a way that is highly innovative and interactive. Mentimeter demonstrates the power of learning through technology and how the connection between the two serves a greater purpose: integration. The way that menitmeter opens the avenues of co-constructive learning is next to none; with the ever-so-interactive approach and tactics applied within its walls, mentimeter provides its users with endless opportunities to share knowledge across all platforms and the versatility of its components make for the perfect learning toolkit. This particular teaching and learning instrument contains a large variety of functions/settings which allow its users to utilize this on different occasions and as often as they prefer: its settings are also user-friendly which is an added bonus when it comes to 'navigation' potential challenges. The support received while being an active user of this tool is a state-of-the-art one: you will always have the guidance and responses you need to implement the best version of your teaching. Mentimeter 's integration into the lesson is one that takes place in the most innovative and seamless as possible: studetns always comment on its creative aspect and its ability to engage everyone in topics that they perhaps would otherwise not take part in. It is a tool that carries out respect, equality and principles of integration through its plethora of applications which are geared towards (quite literally) everyone's interests and current topics.
