The SmartBook requires students to review the content, and the system dynamically measures retention of core concepts. It is a little bit more complicated to navigate as a teacher when you have multiple grade levels working in the program. You have to filter carefully to avoid confusion when looking for whatever it is you need. I also do not like the "assignments" page because in order to remove an assignment from the page you have to actually inactivate it, although I have learned to do this more efficiently.
