I evaluated several eQMS options for our company's transition from a paper-based system to an electronic one, and MasterControl's user interface was the most intuitive and easy to use. As our main concern was end user rollout and adoption, the modules keep processes in a neat 'container,' which makes the process of learning the system easier. As a first time sysadmin, there are endless resources from MasterControl Academy, to the Help pages, to the Community Hub which allow me to see the capability of the system. Our company will also make great use of leveraging dynamic organizers to maintain Design History Files, which previously was a huge manual effort. There are a couple small improvements that could be made. For example, with the search functionality-there is a general search bar at the top of the page, but also one within the page you are on, and I often end up searching in the wrong one. The collaboration features are great for editing documents, and it's very easy to use with a nice user interface. I really value the ability to create customized forms for CAPAs and foreign material investigations; they are very detailed and work well. The document workflow for editing and revising documents works very well and flows easily, and it's easy to customize these workflows to fit what is needed.
