"Great all-in-one course management software"

What do you like best about Mastera?

Mastera takes care of everything in one place, so you don't have to worry about bringing together multiple different products to craft a platform to deliver your eLearning course. Because everything is provided in the one platform I can spend less time working on stitching things together and more time developing my content.

The features that are present appear to be well developed. I'm impressed by the quality of the outputs being created, which will improve the experience of my users. Big thumbs up

I also appreciate that uploaded course content is woven in with other delivery methods including live sessions. You can also sell products at the same time which gives you a unique opportunity to sell products that you might be teaching or which might be integral to the material that is being presented. What do you dislike about Mastera?

Because everything is handled for you, the amount of customisability for your platform is limited to what is supported by Mastera. If you plan to make the most out of what has been provided (which is pretty comprehensive) then this isn't going to be a problem

Signing up was straightforward but again fairly restrictive. Accounts are tied to email addresses which can be fiddly to work with if you are working on multiple platforms at the same time. There is a partner program which is nice, but the features of that system are still needing to be developed. Recommendations to others considering Mastera:

It's definitely worth checking out, if you have the need to deliver eLearning content. Especially so if you have an idea for a course and want to build it from the ground up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many options for delivering eLearning content nowadays, and Mastera is a good option. Because it brings together all the functionality you need to manage a course and deliver your content, it streamlines the process of developing your academy. I have been working in Mastera for the past few weeks. I am quite impressed. I was looking for a tool that can help me develop and organize online courses and then dabble into memberships. The Mastera tool is easy to use (after a learning curve) and really has lots of bells and whistles that other similar tools don't have. If you are needing a simple website or storefront - it has that too (I didn't really need those), but overall a great tool that is very versatile to meet many needs for coaches like me. "It's what I was looking for"

What do you like best about Mastera?

Mastera is what I was looking for. I am launching my first online courses and Mastera allows me to create my own academy page, to manage memberships, programs and even live classes. All this in a very intuitive way, so that I don’t have to stress about anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mastera?

But I need the GDPR compliance (everyone of us in Europe do, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t GDPR compliant when I purchased it), the Paypal integration and the ability to translate the site in other languages. I hope they will add them soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for a teaching platform, but you're at the beginning of your online courses career, I think Mastera can help you because it's very intuitive to use. What do you like best about Mastera?

Mastera's ability to do multiple things, i.e., host my video content, conduct live classes, manage my class calendar and bookings with embeddable widgets, and automated class reminders via email and SMS notifications. What problems is Mastera solving and how is that benefiting you?

For years I had a grand plan to source and string together a disparate list of apps to host, gate, market, and manage content and courses I plan to launch and manage membership access to them. Over that period, I’ve spent weeks, literally if not months, going back and forth with support agents all over the globe, submitting ticket after ticket, and even attempted to tinker with PHP coding, an uphill task for someone with no background in coding. Two years later, I’m embarrassed to report that nothing has come out of it.

Mastera allows me to host my video content, conduct live classes via Zoom, manage my class calendar and bookings with embeddable widgets, and even sends automated class reminders via email and SMS notifications. Mastera even allows me to sell products and has Stripe native integration for payment. Everything in one app and ready to deploy right out of the box. No more messing around with APIs, PHPs. "Perfect for My Online Teaching Business"

What do you like best about Mastera?

The features: LMS, VOD, Live Classes, Membership, e-Commerce, SMS, and email messaging, and CNAME.

There may be more but these are the ones that I'm setting up and planning on using.

The site setup was simple. Some of the previous LMS-CMS services that I tried were frustrating to work with and I remained on "standby" for launching for months.

I'm happy to say that, after two days, I have everything ready for uploading content. My live classes are ready to go and all I have to do is select a launch date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mastera?

Page preview was a little wonky. Every time that I saved, I received a message that my changes were successfully saved.

Then, when I hit "preview" I received a message that said, "You may lose your changes."

I never actually lost changes, but I did end up duplicating a couple of pages as a precaution.

The only other gripe that I have is, I wish there was PayPal integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mastera solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I tried other LMSs I needed to modify my business plan based on what the LMS could provide.

Mastera has allowed me to implement my original business plan.

In addition, my colleagues have seen my site and have asked to become partners.

"Gather multiple teachers under one roof"

What do you like best about Mastera?

- Very easy to set up. Had my first demo class published in a few minutes.

- Nice quality, checked it from my mobile phone and the video was crisp (I uploaded a 1920 video) and the experience was smooth on mobile (using the web browser).

- The ability to let all my connected teachers offer and charge for virtual live meetings, courses and programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mastera?

The mobile apps are far from production ready, but they seam to be very new. I see them as in a proof-of-concept level at the moment. I hope Mastera also has this view of them and that they have plans to redo them by ironing out the bugs and work on the UI and UX. I really hope that they will work on this to make the mobile apps outstanding, since it is a really great combination to have multiple teachers together with a mobile+tv apps.

I know Mastera is still a very new platform, so these things are to be expected. In a year or two, I hope they'll have a great system with their multi-teacher and (hopefully) powerful mobile + TV apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A lot of bang for your buck"

What do you like best about Mastera?

ne of the things that has struck me right off the bat is everything you can do with Mastera. As another review already pointed out, you really do have the ability to pretty much create a business from the ground up.

Another first impression is that it is a beautiful service, especially for an LMS/CMS system and the level of customization that is allowed can really make it easy to integrate it into your existing site, especially if you are utilizing the CNAME features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
