What do you like best about Masergy?

Masergy offers a broad product portfolio including services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Masergy?

Poor integration with my company dialer which was Tenfold Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Masergy:

Make sure you really do some analysis if you have any integration with an automated or click-to-dial software like Tenfold. The reporting didn't always sync up and Masergy and Tenfold support were blaming each others products. It was very confusing for the IT support team and even more frustrating for the sales team and managers who had to track call and sales activity using that reporting. Having accurate data is pretty essential for strong sales and activity management for any high performing sales team! Other than that, the product was generally always available except for about once a year when it seemed like the product was down across the city for some reason. What do you like best about Masergy?

The service is global, so you can enjoy the disastrous implementation attempts at each of your worldwide sites.

While it does suck, they are one of the view vendors we looked at that had a single management portal for most things.

Sales team were good, but seem to have sold us a useless service so not much to be happy about there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Masergy?

Support are untrained and have no idea what systems they are even working with, very poor English does not help.

It takes months to do basic changes such as add a CPI.

It took nearly a year to try to swap an adva, only to be told it wasn't possible.

Won't give you access to the firewalls, so your stuck waiting for them to make changes, which takes months at times.

Seemly no one has experience with Microsoft Azure, so if you're trying to add Azure as a HUB for your SDWAN, your on your own.

Support sometimes just won't reply and will ignore a basic ticket like asking for domains to be blocked.

Their management portal is pretty poor, it's buggy and lacks SSO.

Implementation was a mess, due to an issue on their form, 5 of our sites were setup with fibre handoff, when the supplied firewalls don't have SFP. This issue is still outstanding.

I have no faith that any of the firewalls were setup securely as they still allow SSH remotely without MFA, and are running very old versions of fortiOS. But will not update them or let us manage them to keep them updated.

Their EDR and MDR services have no connection to each other and are extremely disjointed.

Their SOC and NOC don't talk to each other so its very frustrating to get firewall changes done off the back of a security incident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It supplies our sites with internet at a semi-acceptable price.

What do you like best about Masergy?

Masergy has a wide variety of capabilities on its platform. We have a business which includes 20+ office locations. The media phone system connects to each internet and cable system seemlessly. In addition, the voice recognition software is a huge bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Masergy?

Masergy can be relatively expensive; however, we have been able to contract a fair cost for multiple years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Masergy?

There is no any dedication to improving the efficiency of our communication tools. They have consolidated all our channels onto different platform, which has decreased collaboration, within our team. I also find value in the integration of automated software like Tenfold although there have been a hiccups with syncing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Masergy?

The difficulty is their billing process, which is sometimes be difficult to navigate due to charges and fees. The limited customization options dont fully meet our needs either. Those who lack infrastructure face problems due to their reliance on network availability. The downtime we experience negatively impacts productivity levels making Masergy less than ideal for telecommunication services. What do you like best about Masergy?

One significant drawback of Masergy is its lack of integration with software. We encountered issues with their reporting system not synchronizing with our click to dial software. This caused confusion and frustration both for our IT support team and sales team. Accurate data is crucial for sales and activity management; therefore, its failure to provide this is a disappointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Masergy is instrumental, in increasing our difficulties of communication tools. It restricts us to consolidate our communication channels into a platform, which decrease the usefulness and collaboration within our team. What problems is Masergy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Their billing process is difficult to navigate due, to fees and confusing charges. Their solutions are not highly customizable which never fully meet the needs of organizations. Relying on network availability is problematic for those with limited network infrastructure. The Communicator app for iOS and Android requires improvement although they have plans to address this issue. Integration with our company’s dialer (Tenf) is also poor which is the drawbacks.
