Lumigo is good in several aspects. it is easy to use when it comes to user interaction with the dashboard and also easy to implement since it has straightforward integration with the AWS account and selecting the resources to be monitored through the lumigo dashboard.
It facilitates with number of features like configuring alert frequency, monitoring infrastructure, execution time monitoring, and customizable UI.
It is easy to integrate with third-party tools like Slack, and Gmail for notifications.
they also have very flexible customer support, Whenever we have new challenges they'll engineer the solution for us and for every new set of feature releases they'll schedule a call with us for a walkthrough of new features explaining what and how will it be useful for us. right now it is challenging to disable or exit from lumigo once the AWS account is integrated. for that action, we need to raise a customer support request which becomes a tedious task for a developer. Self disabling/exiting option would greatly enhance the overall experience with Lumigo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most useful features are the lamda monitoring and alerting. We're not a large business and have a small tech team and all our core infrastructure is deployed to the cloud. At first we started manually setting up our monitoring software using terraform and AWS infrastructure, but it was fiddly and time consuming. Lumigo allowed us to connect our lambdas to a Slack channel and gave us visibility of all our lambdas and their failures in one place, making it easy to understand problems as they crop up.
Since then, we've started using the ECS features to monitor the few containers we have, leaned in more on tracing for debugging the lambdas dealing with customer data and also started to set up metric based alerting for when someone or something is spamming our lambdas hard.
One absolutely interesting thing has been working closely with the Lumigo teams as they had features that just did not work when we started out with them. For example, replicated Cloudfront lambdas were untraceable in their system initially, but since we made the effort to set up NextJS tracing, they made the effort to set up tracking across replicated lambdas and ensure we can see the logs in one place, which is fantastic. The account managers are also great and help keep us up to date with new and exciting features just around the corner and are a pelasure to talk to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The largest downside is the pricing model, which is based on tiers and tracing. The point about lambdas is that they're bursty but the Lumigo tiering is not, so there's no easy way to specify how to cope when somone decides to, for example, index your site for their search query and you didn't set up the robots.txt to deny the API routes. Having said that, Lumigo has tended to be generous with limits when exceeded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The onboarding process at lumigo could not have been easier. In just 5 minutes times, I was able to fully trace hundreds of lambda functions and get alerts sent to me via Slack for any failures.
Finding the root cause of the issue is nearly instantaneous with great visual cues to pin point right where the error occurred.
Distributed tracing is so important in today's multi application environment, we are calling out to all kinds of services and want to know where and when a dependent service breaks down. Lumigo does this out of the box and has great tooling and dashboarding for all levels of the businness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lumigo has been very receptive to feedback, I just wish they were faster at turning around feature requests that would make my life even easier ;) But what do you do... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lumigo's platform has made managing our serverless infrastructure not only efficient but also enjoyable. Their user-friendly interface and robust features have simplified the monitoring and troubleshooting process, ultimately saving us time and effort.
The setup process was a breeze, allowing us to get up and running in no time, and the speed at which we were able to deploy it was quite fast.
One of the standout features of Lumigo is its comprehensive metrics dashboard. It provides us with a holistic view of our entire serverless environment, allowing us to gain valuable insights and make data-driven decisions without the need for extensive configurations. While it's a minor issue, I believe there's room for improvement in enhancing the alerting functionalities by introducing more advanced conditions for triggering alerts. These relatively minor adjustments could further elevate the platform's already impressive performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is quick and easy to implement and without needing any code refactoring.
The integrations are good and help us getting alerts on various channels which reduced our mean time to detect compared to our previous solution.
Its tracing capabilities showing exactly what happens in a request, down to each SDK calls, help us in our daily support tasks. This also enables our developers working on new applications or features to quickly pinpoint errors and performance issues.
The "Issues" dashboard is very usefull as it sorts errors by types and last occurence, allowing our support teams to quickly triage errors in a mass of logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its container support is not (yet) up to par compared to its serverless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were in quite a special situation when we started using Lumigo because our serverless applications were not monitored since we were re-taking ownership on externaly managed infrastructure. Lumigo helped us both to debug pre-existing unknown bugs, but also to get a better understanding fast of our systems interactions. It does allow for both discovering issues you did not detect, but also to monitor on two levels : technical and business.
It only takes a few minutes to get up when you use interpreted languages, and not very much more for compiled ones using their libraries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing special, everything is simple and neatly organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to set up & integrate on any AWS Account with it's one click cloudformation template. It's transaction tracing feature gives users to ability to debug various type of bugs and failures.
The dashboard gives a overview of important serverless insights like % of failures, cold starts and latency. We were able to detect the bottleneck in our serverless infrasture that was causing the lattency and fix it due to lumigo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Registration and maintaining multiple tenants is not that straightforward, which could be a pain point for agencies that are using Lumigo for multiple customers with multiple aws accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the standout features that we absolutely love is its comprehensive end-to-end visibility into our AWS Lambda functions. Lumigo provides a user-friendly dashboard that gives us real-time insights into the performance, errors, and latency of our functions, making it incredibly easy to identify and resolve issues quickly. The initial setup process can be a bit complex, especially for those new to serverless architectures. Some additional documentation or tutorials aimed at beginners could help streamline the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The amount of details it shows of every Lambda function you have
- The possibility to tag them so that you can easily filter out what does not require your attention at the moment
- The huge amount of log data available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I miss an introductory walk-through for new uses. It is true that if you know AWS and Serverless there is no such a difference to make this learning too steep, but it would be helpful to other less experienced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
