It works in such a seamless way with all of our applications and media - to the extent that you simply forget that it is providing a very easy and simple cloud workflow - with all of the benefits and none of the challenges that this approach traditionally provides.
I really should mention the quality of customer support - it is the best third party support for any technology I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There aren't really any downsides. I suppose price would be one for many - but it is very reasonable when you factor in how much time it is saving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lucidlink is software agnostic and it works across different OS.
Easy to set up and quite cost-efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The number of Wasabi & IBM servers is good but the latency and upload-download speeds are not as good as say, Frame.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to acess files remotely and across multiple users. This has sped up our production timeline and means our team operates more efficiently. We use LucidLink daily in our office and I can't imagine a world where we'd go back to our old system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If your internet connection isn't fantastic, LucidLink can feel a little slow, but it is certainly still usable. Installing was easy for the most part, but required some knowledge surrounding updating security protocol on MacOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is so easy to configure that almost anyone could do it. It is the easiest way to share media on the cloud and have a local cache of that information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of any things I dislike about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to easily mount and not have to think about it. initial implementation was easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
issues around unexpected overages due to not being able to accurately see usage.
not free updgrading to new versions so early adopters have to take the financial burden of progress.
Detailed access and Security logs and MFA should be standard Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a team of audio mixers and used to use another similar service that was not robust enough to handle hundreds of thousands of files that needed to be synced on a regular basis. Lucid does this with ease. There is no going back. This is the service we were waiting for! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If there's any issue, it's just that you can only easily share with other lucid users. Otherwise you have to use another web sharing service. I am told Lucid will have this solved very soon, but this is not a make or break feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that I can upload assets to LucidLink and give access to remote editors and they can start work immediately without the need to download any assets is amaing.
The ability for real-time in the cloud editing is a game changer for me and my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slightly clunky install especially on M2 macs, but the instructions from Lucid on how do it are clear and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LucidLink really is seamless for file-sharing within an Adobe Premiere workflow, especially to leverage the power of Productions in a remote environment. Acts just like a local attached drive. The quasi-streaming works just as advertised, you barely ever know that you are working with remote files. It's that fast and nearly-invisible. Combining it with Premiere's proxy workflow (and selecting a small enough proxy format) allows even team members on slow systems to collaborate effectively. There are flexible ways to work. The basic plan is incredibly inexpensive for what it offers.
It takes some thoughtfulness to plan your backup strategies, as LucidLink becomes your source of "truth" for all your media. The tutorial videos are excellent but sometimes hard to find the one that speaks to your need. Tech support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did run into three issues you should be aware of (Tech support is working with me on this).
1. If you are on a Mac and have filenames that have illegal characters in Windows (question marks, trailing blanks, etc.) LucidLink will give an error and stop uploading your files. You have to manually find each illegal file on your local drive and then re-do the upload. There is a way to turn this illegal charactor restriction off, but that would not be advised in a cross-platform Mac/Win collaboration.
2. The basic plan uses a backend cloudserver vendor that sometimes speed-throttles the initial upload if you have a lot of large video files. It's not at all an issue for editing, just for the first-time upload of assets. Either upload overnight or jump to the next service tier, which tech support tells me doesn't have that issue.
3. I ran into a problem where a few folders did not fully upload to LL during initial upload. Missing files in LL, but no error messages. Tech Support says that's not normal and we are working on the issue. I ended up manually comparing folder sizes and uploading the individual files within any folders that had not fully uploaded. Ease of use would be top of the list, its just works and the whole team picked it up quickly. Works seem lessly for our team in Australia and New Zealand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Installing the App on corportate Mac hard process intially. When get locked out it is a killer - just lucky hasnt happened that often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lucid for me and my team has replaced the need for sending hard drives overnight. Our whole team has access to all footage, assets & project files. It is super easy to install, share projects and onboard people to projects. Customer support and their help center have all the answers you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. It is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
